There are some of the looks we have done in the last 8 years .. She’s worked so hard on her drag for SO long , I’ve watched Art grow and succeed in her career over time , she’s had her own TV SERIES , podcast , featured in drama series , documentaries about the show Kath and Kim , I’ve seen her perform on the Rupauls Drag Race stage in New York & Los Angeles, parody plays , Rupauls drag race world tours, national comedy tours and right now she’s starring in the top 4 on Rupauls Drag Race Down under ( v/s the world ) for the second time in her career . I’ve seen her at drag bingo , salon openings , on murals the size of a wall , performing in nightclubs and she’s brought out two books , she keeps on SLAYING and this really is the drag Olympics , Art you are so deserving of this crown you are such an important member to our community and bring so much joy to those that get to see you in your element , you have the charisma , uniqueness , nerve and talent to be a WINNER BABY 🌈🫶🙌 everyone show some love and hashtag on the World of Wonder post ….. it’s so amazing to see her on this global platform time and time again showcasing her talents and making her dreams come true, she’s a star , and if you haven’t had the honour of seeing her live - make sure you go to an upcoming show which she announces on her Art Simone . thank you to those who could make it to celebrate with us at Steam Jacket Brewery… we felt sooo much love in the room and wanted the night to go on forever . We know so many people people and are blessed to have you in our lives aswell as each other. Frank put a lot of effort in to decorating and we all know he’s great with designs and creating spaces … so thanks Frankie for organising most of the decorations and delegating setup , drawing a castle and huge enGAYgement sign ..

Big thanks to Liv , Tim , Chloe , Lauren , Jodi , Liam , Paul , Frank for setting up our castle , balloons. Streamers , photo boards , disco balls and lanterns , blowing up ballloons with a compressor and tieing them together 😝 and so many things for setup … thank you for your hours of help , and last minute disco ball repairs
It was really special to have Keyo and Brie our friends (two of the sistagirls from Galiwink’ku ) fly down on not only one but TWO aeroplanes ✈️ ✈️ to come and celebrate at the party. 🎉 and stay with us for the weekend … thank you yapas we loved having you in Naarm (Melbourne)
I’m so greatful that Mum and Nicole could come from QUEENSLAND , some long term life friends Sam and Miranda from QLD , Ben and Janine from Byron Bay & John Franks brother all the way from Canberra!
It was so lovely having both our families meet , my mum and aunty hadn’t met franks mum and dad or siblings so that was truly a highlight for us to witness them meeting for the first time ..
HOW TO MAKE YOUR SALON WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE- a few tips how I did at my last salon ( which wasn’t accessible until these changes) - starting with with a portable basin, a fold out ramp, a bucket for water to wash into, and if you don’t have an accessible bathroom, you can find a neighbour close by that does! The salon now in Brunswick Eazf is a lot more accessible being a newer build, we don’t require a ramp and we have an accessible bathroom … we still use the portable basin but I still like to show this video for tips for other salons. 👌 I love doing Bree’s hair and I thought it was important to make this video to inspire more salons how easy it can be to be an inclusive wheelchair accessible space , providing comfort and making it easy for your disabled clients to get their hair done! I used
Manic Panic on Bree’s hair and we loveeeee the result ! Also, just take it slow, even with our neurodivergent clients, clients on the spectrum, even clients with anxiety - and ask if people need a break in between to make the process easier and better for the client. It makes people comfortable knowing the hair dresser is willing to take the time and understand the clients needs… hair salons can be really overwhelming sensory wise , as-well as the actual hair dressing part of it or changing looks / feeling like you have a new identity. Sometimes clippers can be overhelming, the bristles of a brush on the scalp , hair washing , or the music can be too loud and overstimulating…. Sensory overload! I have fidget toys for anxiety too. Bree suffers with chronic pain, so as well as taking her medication before, during and after to relieve pain whilst in the salon, she will grab an extra chair to pop her leg up to relieve her pain if need be too, so it’s important to pay extra attention to your clients needs with a disability or that may be experiencing pain and just politely check if there’s anything that they need while they’re in your space while they’re in and through prior discussion . 🫶💓

I love that an appointment in my chair was one of her 40 things to do before turning 40! A UNICORN MANE made it on the list, and we totally got her that todayyyyyy ! She flew in from Newcastle which is over 1,000 kilometres away! 😍😆😜 Manic Panic hair dye and I used K18 mask , mist and molecular repair oil for styling for this one !
