Do you know why?

My passion for hairdressing began long before I stepped behind the salon chair. Growing up in a family of hairdressers, I was fortunate to witness first-hand the dedication, professionalism and commitment to education that helped build Penthouse Hairdressing into a respected salon business.

With 34 years of hairdressing experience and 19 years working alongside my parents at Penthouse Hairdressing, I have developed a deep appreciation for both the practical and educational sides of our industry.

Over the past 50 years, my parents have trained and mentored 32 apprentices throughout Perth and Bunbury. During my own career, I have worked closely with many apprentices, helping them build confidence, develop their skills and grow into successful hairdressers.

Throughout my life, I have watched my parents not only run a busy salon, but also deliver communication workshops, education sessions and industry training for hairdressers and local organisations. Their commitment to supporting others has inspired my own passion for mentoring and education and inspired me to complete my Certificate IV Training and assessment in Hairdressing.

Today, I offer apprentice coaching and support sessions designed to provide extra guidance, practical skill development and confidence-building opportunities for apprentice hairdressers. Whether you need help catching up on theory, preparing for assessments, refining practical skills or simply gaining confidence in the salon environment, my goal is to provide supportive, personalised guidance based on decades of real salon experience.

I believe every apprentice learns differently, and sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference.
