My names Alana Knight and I just wanted to share something with you about myself. My dream for a long time has been simple, but very important to me. I wanted to make an impact on people's lives, whether it be big or small. I have a need to make people look beautiful and feel happy about themselves. One day, many moons ago as a young child, I made the decision on what I wanted to be when I grew up. When I discovered that I could study hairdressing, it sparked a drive in me to combine my dream and my passion into a career. Now, it is a skill I have been perfecting for well over 10 years. Having working for a few high profile companies’, winning multiple awards, winning overseas trips and now having two small beautiful children, I have created my very own business,

Gloss and Shine Hair Design. I wanted to create something of my own to be proud of. The experience and knowledge I have gathered over the years, has enabled me to build the perfect work space to be creative, inspired and attentive. I use only the best product; Loreal Professional Colour and Loreal Homecare Products. By regularly participating in courses ranging from new techniques in cutting and colouring, colour trends, colour knowledge and product updates I am always in the loop with the latest leading trends and techniques. I have a small boutique home salon in which I would love to take care of you!
