Well what can I say
We start our journey home tonight after an incredible week teaching in the Men & Women's prisons in Quezon City in the Philippines. The Hair Aid Australia team was joined by members from the local HAMVEES women & men trained by HairAid on previous trips.
Kacie & I taught at both the female & men's prisons , we were also blessed to have a day when we were both teaching together ❤️
There are now 54 PDLs ( Persons Deprived of Liberty, that have the skills to not only earn money cutting hair in the prison salons , but will now be able to support their families on release .

Hello from Quazon City in the Philippines
In this part of the world boys need regulation haircuts to attend school.
On Sunday we provided 55 back to school haircuts in the local community.We also had the Hamvees, a group of women & men who were originally trained by HairAid helping us with the haircuts.

We packed resources this morning ready for Monday.
We are now having lunch & a well deserved coffee.
Sunday afternoon we have Community Cuts ✂️
Monday our project begins
We are both looking forward to making a difference 1 haircut at a time.

Kacie & I are waiting at gate 85 to board our ✈️ to Manilla for Hair Aid.
