Breeding quality, versatile Shires We started in 2003 with the purchase of a stunning Shire mare Wyee Bonnie Lass.
In 2006 we purchased a 2yo Shire colt Southern Cross Spitfire who has gone on to be very successful in the show ring winning numerous times Supreme Exhibit of Show and has produced Supreme winning progney. We aim to breed the total package...an allrounder Shire.....harness, working,riding and to constantly improve on the quality of Shires both at Beandema Shires and Australia wide.

After the devastation of loosing our beautiful stallion Southern Cross Spitfire, aka Boompa, in 2014, we have been pretty quiet here at Beandema Shires......However, finally we have some great news!! On the 21st of November 2016, our little home bred mare Beandema Daisy Bow (Bowie), had her first foal - a special little pocket rocket we named Bella Rosa. Bella (Bum Bum) is Boompa's first grand baby, out of Bowie, by Viewfield Huon and we are very excited to welcome her.
