Lip neutralisation is different from lip blush. It is a specialised technique for lips with extra melanin, dark patches or uneven tones. Using the correct colour theory, pigment and technique, we work to balance the darker areas and create a more even, naturally pink-looking lip colour.

The number of sessions depends on how much pigmentation the lips have. Some clients may need up to 3 sessions to achieve their desired level of neutralisation.

For this beautiful client, we achieved this result after just one session. 🤎
A little swelling is completely normal after the procedure. The lips may look slightly fuller immediately afterwards, but this usually settles down within a few hours as the lips return to their natural shape.

This client came to me with a faded old ombré brow from a previous artist and wanted to add soft hair strokes for more dimension and a natural look. 🤎

Working over existing pigment can be challenging, as it’s harder to create those fine, delicate strokes on top of old colour. But with the right technique and proper equipment, we were able to create soft hair strokes that blend beautifully with the existing pigment.
