I came to Melbourne with a suitcase full of nail art, a whole lot of nerves and absolutely no idea what to expect from my first GNDA. 😂💅
And somehow I’m heading home with 3 x 2nd places and 1 x 3rd place! 🥈🥈🥈🥉
I’m incredibly proud of myself. Not just for the results, but for actually putting myself out there and having the courage to compete alongside so many incredibly talented artists.
There were moments where I questioned whether my work was good enough, whether I belonged there and whether I was completely crazy for entering so many categories 😂… but standing there with those medals made every late night, every tiny detail and every moment of doubt worth it.
And honestly, one of my favourite parts was meeting the people behind the names I’ve seen online for so long. Getting to chat, laugh, encourage each other and experience this crazy weekend together was something I’ll treasure. ❤️
I’m going home inspired, motivated, a little exhausted 😂 and VERY excited to see where this takes me next.

I went into GNDA hoping to challenge myself, learn, meet other incredible nail artists and simply be brave enough to put my work out there.
I never expected to walk away with FOUR awards. 🥹
There were definitely moments of doubt, nerves and “what the hell am I doing?!” 😂 but I’m so incredibly proud of myself for taking the leap and entering.
From little old Bundaberg to Melbourne… I actually did it. 💜
I’m still processing it all, but one thing I know for sure — this is only the beginning. ✨

✨💜 GNDA 2026 — HERE WE GO! 💜✨
The countdown is officially on… I’m flying out tomorrow! ✈️
This time last year, I never would have imagined I’d be packing my bags and heading to Melbourne to compete at the Global Nail Design Awards. 🥹
I’m feeling ALL the emotions right now — excited, nervous, proud, overwhelmed… and probably going to cry at some point regardless of what happens. 😂😭
I’ve spent months creating, practising, second-guessing, starting again, pushing myself and learning so much along the way. Some of these pieces have challenged me more than I ever expected, but I’m incredibly proud that I actually put myself out there and entered.
There are no guarantees, and honestly, I’m trying not to think too much about the results. I just want to take it all in — meet other nail techs, see their incredible work, learn, make memories and enjoy being part of something I’ve worked so hard towards. 💜

💜✨ IT’S ALMOST TIME… GNDA 2026! ✨💜
Next Friday I’m jumping on a plane and heading to Melbourne for the Global Nail Design Awards! 💅🏻✈️
I honestly still can’t believe I’m saying that 😂
I’ve spent the last few months creating, experimenting, stressing, second-guessing myself and probably using way too much nail product 😂💅🏻
I’ve entered 7 categories this year — 5 hand-in entries and 2 photographic entries — and I’ve poured so much time, creativity and a whole lot of love into every single one.
I’m nervous.
I’m excited.
I’m completely out of my comfort zone.
And yes… I’m probably going to cry at some point whether I win or lose! 😂🥹
I’ve never been to a gala like this, never really had to dress up in a pretty dress and walk into a room full of incredibly talented nail artists… so there’s definitely a part of me thinking “what the hell am I doing here?!” 😂
But I also know I belong in that room.
Win, lose or place somewhere in between, I want to be proud that I put myself out there and actually gave it a go.
So here we go… 💜
