This is one of the combos I recommend for my extension clients. 💕
The shampoo gently cleanses, while the mask gives the lengths and ends that extra moisture extensions need.
➡️ But these are only part of your aftercare routine. I always recommend following with a leave-in product and heat protectant, especially if you’re blow-drying or using hot tools. 🔥
Good extension aftercare is all about moisture + protection to keep the hair soft and manageable for longer.
🤎 Why do darker hair extensions tend to last longer?
Darker shades generally go through less chemical processing, which means the hair can retain more of its strength and condition.
But colour alone doesn’t guarantee longevity. Too much heat, lack of moisture and the wrong products can still cause the ends to dry out, snap and gradually lose length.
🥹 This client is such a good example of great aftercare. Over a year later, her extensions are still going strong! She follows my aftercare routine and only uses the products I recommend.
