Sugar Mama introduces the Byron Bay Shire to the ancient Egyptian Hair removal technique; Sugaring. Sugaring is a natural, chemical free, hair removal technique that not only reduces hair growth faster and more effectively than waxing, it also reduces irritation and unsightly ingrown hairs. Made up of sugar, lemon and water, boiled into a soft toffee like paste, it is then used at room temperature. Gently kneaded and rolled across the skin, against the direction of hair growth and then removed in the natural direction that the hairs grow (unlike wax which pulls against). This technique extracts the hair from the root, thus less likely to break (and cause those nasty unsightly ingrown hairs!). Results are longer lasting, leaving the skin smooth, conditioned and a lot less red and blotchy. It can also be done more regularly, meaning it picks up shorter hairs leaving you bikini ready in no time! Another bonus is that Sugaring can be done absolutely anywhere! Underarms, face, brazilian, legs, toes, buttocks, backs, chests and tummy's!
