Hello Community,
Sending you all so much Love. Vanessa and I wanted to express our deepest gratitude to all of those whom have enjoyed, supported and cared for Thank you from the depth of our hearts. We would of not created what we did without you. It was a courageous venture for us at the beginning of the epidemic.

🌹As we grow individually we have both been inspired to follow different pathways for now. Whilst I ripen in my art and skill set gently here in Aotearoa and Vanessa sets off to travel the world. We are going to allow to take a rest. 😴

We will let you know on here if it takes a new form. 🐆🐾

With deep respect to the Mayan culture, to the hands and hearts whom harvest & craft this blessed medicine and to the ones who gave their blessing for us to share this plant delight here in Australia within our communities. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻😘

May the dream seeds you have all planted at winter solstice prosper and germinate in such beauty and abundance. 💛

With love
Us xx

SACRED PAUSE 🙏🏻✨

Hello out there to the
IXMUCANÈ community and extended ceremonial cacao lovers/family.

It has become apparent that Vanessa and I have so much more learn on this path of business, sacred plant medicine & living in a rapidly changing society.
As we grow with the pulse and cycle of nature we have embraced pausing, letting go & allowing what no longer serves us to die.
We are going through yet another recalibration and so with that said we will be having a sacred pause moment for a month as we focus more on our personal creative pathways.

You will find Vanessa’s art here .rose.creations & my earth centric embodiment offerings here

🐆We wouldn’t be here without our long time friend, guide & inspiration IXMUCANÈ for she has awoken our internal desire to fulfil our soulful passions.

And we want to express our deepest gratitude for you all and your continual support we wouldn’t be here without you all. ⭕️❤️🌹

Thank you. Will respect to origin of this medicine and alll that it teaches. With love us. 🐾

We will update you in a month at the beginning of May.

“In this sacred story, the medicine man consulted the land in order to discover where to find peace & healing.

He knew that place is more than & incidental backdrop.

Place has spirit, personality, & sacred purpose. ⭕️

Place is the staring actor in every drama, & without the star, the show can’t go on.

The ancestors knew that some places produce strife & others produce peace.

Some are good for hunting, others for growing crops.

There are places to give birth & places to bury the dead.

Settlements will flourish in some places, whilst others become sanctuaries for prayers & retreat.

The modern view is different. We treat places as realestate, mere commodities for sale, to be used by the owners for any purpose they wish.

But when owners desires do not agree with the spirit of the place, the results can be a failed enterprise, illness, & even death.

When it comes to plant spirit medicine, there is a similar divide between the ancestral view & the modern one.

Today plants are also seen as commodities.

They are often forced to grow in places where they don’t belong. Even though there may be helpful phytochemical in the resulting herbal tinctures & capsules, the resentment of the plants can be there too.

Ancestral wisdom says where medicine grows is a part of the medicine.

Plants have roots; they belong to the land where they naturally come forth. They eat minerals & the remains of plants, animals & humans. They eat the spirit & purpose of where they live. They emit & share the medicine of place.” - Elliott Cowan, plant spirit medicine 🌍🌱🌿🍄

“The Mayan people didn't just enjoy cacao as a drink, however. They revered the beans as sacred, calling it the food of the gods and naming it “Ka'kau.” There are Maya depictions showing gods sprouting from cacao pods, and it was rumored that cacao was used as an ingredient in the creation of humans, among other purposes” ❤️⭕️🌏

What Is CACAO?

💛Theobroma Cacao is an evergreen fruit tree of the Malvaceae family grown in tropical countries all around the world and native to mesoamerica.

💛There are 3 different main varieties Criollo, Forastero and Trinitario.

💛 This plant was revered by the ancient Mayans as the “Food of the Gods” Cacao has been considered very Sacred for thousands of years.

💛 Cacao itself is made from the fermented seeds that are roasted and ground into a paste. Since it was first discovered at least 5,000 years ago, Cacao has been considered medicine and is consumed during rituals and ceremonies.

Have you tried our ground bags? $68 from Mullum or alternatively pm us.

“I have had many cacao drinks in my life.
Nothing compares to the rich depth and fiery feeling IXMUCANE evokes within me.

Whenever I drink this unique Mayan cacao my awareness returns to my central pillar of heart and feeling. From this space I know exactly what I need in order to bring balance back, if it is simply sitting and breathing, singing, dancing, gently listening to the sounds of nature….
This cacao evokes a therapeutic landscape within to hold me and nurture me into balance.” Heartfelt share by founder of IXMUCANÈ ❤️‍🔥🌹⭕️

🌏 Know your source.

Their needs to be an ending to unsustainable deforestation and mineral exploitation. These extractive practices degrade the tropical ecosystem that serve as the genetic reservoir for cacao and home for indigenous communities that have tremendous knowledge of the rainforest which cacao calls home.

The true wisdom for rainforest stewardship and historical knowledge about cacao lies with the very people who ancestrally lived where cacao grows, and their way of life.

We have a choice in any moment to choose ethical brands who are honouring the source. This is consumer activism. This supports healthy forests and healthy communities ❤️

❤️ My personal experience with IXMUCANÈ has been a very strong education on so many levels. I’d like to share some of what I have learned over my time connecting with this teacher, friend & ally. 🙏🏻💕

🌱The plant has taught me so much in regards to my relationship with the world, with my everyday engagements & with myself.

♾️ It has reflected to me where I may be out of alignment with my actions. For example being to casual with consumption. With this I’ve learned how to respectfully engage with the plant on a regular basis. Living in sacred exchange with all life.

🌀Cacao has encouraged me to slow down cause when we slow down we can feel what is moving inside us we can really digest what it feels to be grateful. To rest into the appreciation & wisdom this plant has to share with us.

🎨 It has helped me to establish a deeper connection to my creativity, confidence & courage within myself. To express & share myself more with the world.

🌞 Allowing ourselves to be seen can be really confronting for some I feel like cacao can be such a great friend in supporting us to open to our greater purpose & destiny by encouraging us to be who we are.

⭕️ Lastly Ceremonial Cacao really encourages community. Being together. Thriving in diversity alongside one another. Seeing through the eye of the heart always in ALL ways.

Cacao as SUPERFOOD 🔥

👉🏻 Did you know that Cacao is one of the highest sources of magnesium in nature.

It’s full of anti-oxidants, calcium, zinc, copper and selenium. If we want to get really scientific. It has more antioxidants then blueberries , goji’s, red wine and prunes.

It’s stimulates & enhances our mood by effecting our neurotransmitters: serotonin, dopamine and phenythylamine. ✨✨✨

It is important to factor in that everything in moderation is good for our health. Enjoy your next cuppa! 🙏🏻🥰

See through the eyes of the heart. ❤️ With love us xx

🌍 How can WE who live in other parts of the world protect the Forrest’s and support the decolonisation of cacao?

First we need to understand that this is a very sacred and revered plant medicine for centuries.

So honouring your cup, block or bar of ceremonial cacao with deep gratitude and appreciation is the first step.

Purchase form sustainable, non for profit organisations and those who are directly linked the the native people who harvest the cacao. So they us direct compensation for the harvest. 🐆🐾

❤️ With respect and love us xx
