Three premier Queensland Australian Reined Cow Horse Association shows. Two feature classes. One series to find Queensland’s best. 🔥

Now entering its third year, the Sun State Cow Horse Series is back for 2027 — bigger and better, with championship buckles and prize money on offer.

The Sun State Series recognises the highest scoring horses across three of Queensland’s biggest cow horse events:

📍 Southern Downs Cow Horse Spectacular – Stanthorpe | September 2026
📍 CQ Cow Horse Classic – Gracemere | June 2027
📍 Tropicana Classic – Caboolture | July 2027

Competitors will battle it out for valuable series points in the following classes:

⭐ Open Two Handed Cow Horse
⭐ Open Bridle Spectacular

With points accumulated across all three shows, the Sun State Series rewards the combinations that can deliver at the highest level throughout the Queensland cow horse season.

And it all starts in Stanthorpe!
