From October 1st, changes to EFTPOS merchant fee rules mean businesses can no longer pass certain EFTPOS processing costs meaning the banks continue to make money but we as a small business, are expected to pick up the tab. Sound fair? Absolutely not.

Rather than increasing our treatment prices to cover these additional costs, I’d much rather keep my pricing as affordable as possible and simply change the payment methods I accept. 🤍
