Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while, 10 months, to be exact since I last connected with you all here and I wanted to share a bit about why things have been so quiet.

Life threw a few curveballs my way, I had a broken finger that needed surgery which took longer than expected to heal, and in the midst of recovery I was also planning one of the most important days of my life, my wedding! Between healing and preparing to say “I do,” I had to step back for a while and give myself the space to focus on those chapters.

Now, with a healed hand and a heart full of gratitude, I’m excited to say I’m back and ready to braid hair again! I’ve missed connecting with you all, and I’m incredibly thankful for your patience and continued support during this time.

We braid kids’ hair from as young as 3-4 years old, depending on how well they can sit still. Whether they have curly, straight, or knotty hair, we can braid it. For a break in the mornings or to try something different, we can do braids using hair extensions or go natural that can last up to 2-6 weeks.

If you have an undercut and don’t know what to do with your hair, we can help you out! We offer plaits, cornrows with a design, or cornrows going straight back. We can also add hair extensions to make them last longer or appear thicker if desired.

True Hair Braiding now offers undercut trims and cleans for just $15! The service includes one size from 1mm to 25mm on the sides and lining up the edges for a clean cut. Now, you can get your hair braided and sides done all in one go, leaving you looking nice and fresh.

I got to do this lovely girl’s hair from the Gold Coast and she wanted two Dutch Braids with Black, Red and White hair extensions for her AFL competition here in Cairns. The braids provide a secure and elegant look, keeping her hair in place throughout the game and her time here in Cairns which will make one less thing to do in the mornings.
