A LITTLE PAYMENT UPDATE 💳

As most of us are aware, From 1 October 2026, changes to card payment rules mean that I’ll no longer be able to pass on EFTPOS/card transaction fees to my clients.

Like every small business, those little costs behind the scenes can really add up — especially in a small home salon like mine.

Rather than increasing my prices to cover these additional costs, I’d love to encourage cash, bank transfer or PayID where possible. This helps keep a little more of what you spend with me within my small business, rather than going towards transaction fees.

Card/EFTPOS will absolutely still be available through my Square terminal, so please don’t worry if paying by card is your preferred option. 🩷

Can you believe this is the same person!!! A beautiful transformation for my gorgeous client 🤍

She wanted to lighten the ends a little more, remove the unwanted golden tones and create a softer, more seamless blend with a root smudge.

This was actually the result she had been hoping for previously, but unfortunately it just wasn’t achieved. So we set out to create the blonde she had originally wanted — and the reaction when she saw the finished result was EVERYTHING! 🥰

She was absolutely amazed and SO happy with her new hair! 🤍✨

A little colour change can make such a BIG difference! ✨
We said goodbye to the blonde and hello to this gorgeous, warm copper — rich, glossy and full of dimension. 😍

✨ SCALP BLEACH REFRESH 🤍 ✨

This gorgeous girl had been maintaining her scalp bleach at home and decided it was time to come back to the salon for a professional refresh.

Her hair was actually in beautiful condition — she’d clearly been taking great care of it — so our goal was to seamlessly match her fresh scalp bleach into her existing blonde, while correcting a few areas that had become slightly uneven from at-home colour and purple shampoo.

We softened and warmed the overall tone slightly, creating this beautiful creamy vanilla blonde 🤍✨

And that blend… 😍 PERFECTION!

No harsh lines, no obvious colour differences — just a gorgeous, seamless blonde from root to ends. You honestly couldn’t tell where the at-home colour had been.

The finished result is soft, creamy, shiny and incredibly healthy-looking. 🤍

She was absolutely ECSTATIC with her hair — and honestly, I couldn’t agree more! 🥰

I’m completely in love with this blonde. ✨

A little trim is on the agenda for next time, but for now… we’re just enjoying that beautiful colour! 🤍

What a transformation!

This lovely client came to me with previously foiled blonde hair that had been toned very matte and ashy, leaving a khaki/greenish tinge through the blonde. After also having her hair chemically straightened, the blonde areas were feeling quite damaged and compromised.

It was definitely time for a change! ✨

We decided to take her away from the blonde and create a rich, dimensional copper that would complement her skin tone beautifully.

And just LOOK at that shine! 😍🧡

Her hair now looks so much smoother, glossier, healthier and full of beautiful warmth. The difference is incredible!

I’m honestly SO happy with how this transformation turned out. 🥰

Took this hair from a darker, uneven, brassy blonde with grown-out colour to a beautiful, soft, creamy blonde with gorgeous dimension and seamless brightness. 💛✨

✨ Fresh blonde, fresh chop, fresh confidence! ✨

This lovely client hadn’t had her hair done in quite some time, so we gave her a full head of foils to brighten her blonde from root to tip.

When she first sat in my chair, I looked at all her hair and thought, “This is going to take a while!” 😂 Then she smiled and said she wanted to cut it all off to shoulder length… I was secretly so excited (and a little relieved!), and we both had a good laugh.

The fresh cut completely transformed her hair.
It instantly looked thicker, healthier, and so much brighter. Sometimes taking off the damaged ends is exactly what your hair needs to bring it back to life.

The best part? She was heading out on a date with her partner that night, feeling confident with her beautiful new blonde and fresh style. 🥰

I absolutely love this transformation, and seeing how happy she was when she looked in the mirror is why I love what I do. 🤍
