If you know me, you know I love a good cocktail… 🍸 So why wouldn’t I bring that same energy into the salon?

Custom colour is my thing. Mixing, balancing and tweaking until I create something completely individual to the person sitting in my chair.

Would you believe this colour is a cocktail of SEVEN yes SEVEN different shades? 🤎✨

And the best part? She originally came in wanting to be blonde. Somehow I talked her out of it , I barely recognise myself 😂 but I had a different vision for her .

Something richer. Softer. More expensive looking. A colour that worked with her existing hair, suited her lifestyle and would grow out beautifully.

Because a consultation isn’t simply “What colour would you like?”

As hairdressers, our job is to look at the whole picture your hair history, condition, maintenance, budget, lifestyle, skin tone and long-term goals then educate you on ALL of your options.

Sometimes the colour you walk in wanting isn’t necessarily the colour that will work best for you.

“Nobody’s going anywhere!” 😂

So all those hairs that would normally fall out just… stay put.

Then a few months after bub arrives your hormones are like…

“Alright ladies… shift’s over.” 🤣

Cue the giant hairball in the shower, your hairbrush, all over your clothes, stuck to the baby… somehow even all over the tradies at your hubby’s work 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

And every single wash you’re standing there thinking…

“There’s absolutely no way I should still have hair on my head.” 😅

The good news? You’re not going bald! Your hair is simply catching up on all the shedding it skipped during pregnancy.

It usually settles down over the following months, so don’t stress. 💛
