Sheridan and I have walked the same path for years — through school friends, shared chapters, big life highs, and all the spaces in between.

Sometimes she’s close in the chair, sometimes life stretches the appointments out — but the connection always finds its way back.

This collage shows her hair journey: from full scalp blonde and fragile integrity, to softer contrast, longer regrowth, stronger condition, and healthier length.

Four weeks between blonding has become four months — and her hair is better for it.

More contrast. More softness. More strength.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes less force creates more beauty.

Kim hadn’t been in for a while, and her hair had started locking up every time she washed it.

She’d been using silicone-rich shampoos, and over time the hair became coated with buildup that wasn’t easily rinsing away. The cuticle was left open, rough, and surrounded by product residue — so every wash made it feel worse, not better.

The first step wasn’t colour.

It was reset.

I brought Kim in just to demineralise, treat, smooth, and blow-dry her hair — helping the cuticle settle back into place before doing anything more.

After a month, we moved into nanoplasty. Some ends were already compromised, so we had to cut what couldn’t be saved.

By week six, Kim’s hair was finally ready for a soft semi / demi colour refresh.

Now she can look after her own hair again with the right products and a clearer understanding of what her hair actually needs.

Sometimes you need to come in weekly for a little while — not because your hair is “bad,” but because we need to understand what’s really happening.

Navigating the shampoo and product nightmare is hard. It’s easy to create hair terror while thinking you’re doing the right thing.

That’s where professional guidance matters.
