ジャパンディオブホープイベントの集計が出ました。お一人お一人の皆様のサポートのおかげで、$10127.05の募金が集まりました。ステージでパフォーマンスしてくださった皆様、出店くださった皆様、ボランティアの皆様、イベントにご参加くださった皆様、イベントには来れなくても色々な形でご協力くださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。子供達の笑顔につながるよう大切に支援活動に使わせていただきます。ありがとうございます。

Hair Salon Ulysses has now changed to Ulysses Jewellery and Workshop. We closed the hair salon due to the absence of a hairdresser. Sorry for the inconvenience but we hope you enjoy our new business. However we still sell Silk hair care products. Please feel free to ask about them.

The charity event for the victims of Kyushu area in Japan which was held here on the 19th of August was a great success. I held a resin accessory workshop to raise money, which was donated to the charity. The fundraising is still continuing until the Bon Dance Festival on the esplanade on the 3rd of September.

We would like to announce that we closed the hair salon and rental space today. Thank you so much for your support, we appreciate it.

8月19日にユリシス敷地内で行われました九州北部豪雨災害チャリティイベントは、無事成功裡に終了致しました。私もレジンワークショップ&ウクレレ演奏で微力ながら協力させて頂きました。ご来場下さった皆様、事前にご寄付下さった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。募金活動は9月3日にケアンズ市内で行われます盆踊り大会にて終了致します。それまでは、今回イベントを主催されました、えびす堂さん、がんばらんばさん、並びにターザンカフェさんの3店舗で募金箱を設置していらっしゃいますので、ご協力のほどよろしくお願い致します。

A fundraising event for the flood victims in northern Kyushu, southern island of Japan, will be held in Cairns on the 19th of August.

The torrential rains triggered landslides and floods in Fukuoka and Oita prefectures in northern Kyushu on the 5th of July, leaving at least 34 confirmed dead and 7 people are still missing. A Cairns local relative's friend was found dead in Fukuoka Prefecture, with her one-year-old son in her arms. She was pregnant and had been expecting another child in August, had visited her parents’ home located in the disaster region to prepare for the birth of her second child when the heavy rain hit. The two-story house was apparently swept away by a flash flood that crushed the first floor and filled it with mud and timber.

Japan's national public broadcaster, NHK, said Monday that government officials had recorded landslides at 41 different locations, and flooding at another 38 in the five prefectures, or provinces, hit by the disaster.

Cairns residents from Kyushu have decided to hold the event to help them. There will be lots of activities like arts, relaxation, music, sausage sizzle, raffles, etc. Come and join us, it will be a lot of fun!!

ヘアサロンユリシスは本日よりレンタルスペースとして営業再開致します。ご利用可能な時間は月曜〜金曜9:00-17:00、1時間より承ります。料金はお問い合わせ下さい。プロダクトの販売は月曜10:00-14:00となります。

今日でユリシスは4周年を迎えました。これからもどうぞよろしくお願い致します。

You can rent our premises for various activities by the hour. Please enquire for pricing. Available Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00.
Hair products are still on sale on Mondays at 10:00-14:00.

As of January 21, 2017, Hair Salon Ulysses will be temporarily closed due to the absence of a hairdresser. We apologise for any inconvenience. From the 1st of February, we will resume business as a rental space for hair dressers who wish to bring their own clients and for various other activities. If you are a hairdresser or not, please contact us if you would like to use Ulysses. In addition, we will continue selling our line of hair products. Please watch our page for opening times.
