I just wanted to clarify that my LED machine is a high quality SkinMed Australia LED machine. This means it has been registered with the TGA in Australia to make real therapeutic claims….

Why I became a beauty therapist…
Massage Massage Massage. My Mum had done a remedial massage course and enjoyed massaging people and at the age of about 14 I started to enjoy it too.

Although there were not any massage courses around where I lived, and Mum and Dad didn’t want me catching a train by myself into the city at 16 yrs old to study.

We found Katrina’s Beauty School in Morayfield. Close to where I was living at the time, and the course included Massage.

I started 1 day a week in year 10 then in year 11 I decided to leave school to persue ‘beauty school’ full time. I always knew I could finish grade 11 and 12 later, if I needed too, because my Dad did.

And as much as I still love massage. I am glad I’m not doing just massages all day everyday. I love so much the variety of beauty treatments I perform at DayDream and I do pride myself on being really good at all of them. ☺️ After all, I have been in this industry my entire working life and this month, 10years of running my own beauty business 🤍 Thank you so much for being here with me ✨

This month, DayDream Beauty turns 10 years old, and honestly, that feels so surreal to say.

A decade ago, I had a vision of creating a calm, welcoming space where clients could truly relax, feel cared for, and enjoy treatments that I genuinely loved providing.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people, sharing in your milestones, listening to your stories, and helping you carve out a little time for yourself amongst the busyness of life.

DayDream Beauty has supported my family for the past decade, but none of it would have been possible without you. Every appointment booked, every referral, every kind word in your reviews, and every client who has chosen to trust me with their skin, beauty, and wellbeing has helped make this dream a reality.
