There’s a moment near the end of almost every facial when her shoulders finally drop.

Her jaw softens.
Her breathing slows.
Sometimes she drifts off completely, and I keep working quietly.

Then she sits up, looks in the mirror and touches her cheek like she’s meeting an old friend.

That moment is one of the reasons I love what I do.

So many of the women on my bed are carrying so much.

Work. Family. Life. Everyone else’s needs before their own.

For a short amount of time, someone is caring for them.

Their face feels lifted, their skin feels warm and alive, and they walk out feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

And then there’s the other side of my work that I love just as much.

Teaching.

Watching a facialist feel a buccal release under her fingertips for the very first time.

The look in her eyes when she realises, oh… I can feel it.

That moment when technique turns into understanding. When confidence starts to replace doubt.

So many therapists are beautifully talented and still wonder if they’re good enough.

I love watching them leave my training standing a little taller, trusting their hands a little more and talking about their work with a new spark.

Because their clients will feel that too.

Helping women feel their best.

Helping therapists fall in love with their craft all over again.

This is why I love my work.

Because whether I’m working with a client or teaching another therapist, it always comes back to the same thing:

Helping someone feel more connected to themselves, more confident in their own hands, and a little more cared for.
