838 days since I last posted on this account, so I thought I’d get back into it with this beauty . I did a workshop with a couple weeks ago to really work on my social media skills and picked up some new techniques and products too!

Between lockdowns, a new baby (who’s now almost 2), getting married and all the other things in between, I really cannot believe how fast time has flown.
Anyways - I’ve been here, working quietly in the background. A HUGE thank you to my clients who have continued to book even with my lack of presence on social media.

I am beyond excited to be throwing myself right back into it and can’t wait to show you some new content.

FIRST FACE OF 2020 ⚡️ and how bloody beautiful is she 🥰 Today was my first official day back on the brushes after the Christmas and New Year break. A couple huge things happening this year which I’m so excited for.. including a 1:1 with one of the most INCREDIBLE artists in Australia 🤭🙈 (stay tuned for more on that one).

Incredibly sad news for a beautiful wedding venue.

It is our great sadness to inform you that the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat has been severely damaged in the bush fire disaster which passed through Kangaroo Valley over the weekend. We ended 2019 on such a high, winning the Australian Bridal Industry Academy’s award for ‘Best Wedding Ceremony Venue' in NSW and only weeks later are faced with this devastating event. All of our staff, guests and suppliers are safe and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the Fire & Rescue, NSW Rural Fire Service and Emergency Services who worked with us to evacuate and tried so hard to protect our beautiful retreat.

We will be in touch personally with all of our booked clients today.

We would like to thank everyone who has sent us messages of concern and we really appreciate your ongoing support.

There will unfortunately be no weddings hosted here for the moment and we will make further announcements as soon as we are in a position to do so.

Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is a unique and special place treasured by many and it’s definitely our intention to have our wedding venue returned back to its place of natural beauty.

My most asked question from the M.O.B / M.O.G the morning of a wedding would have to be: “Is my makeup going to run? I’m going to be crying all day you know!” (This is if mum isn’t already welling up with tears. Ps... completely normal!!!)

I’ve got you covered with Great Lash Waterproof Mascara which is always on hand. Just don’t forget to lightly dab your tears, don’t wipe them and take off the makeup with it.

Ps - I was going over my calendar for the rest of the year and realised I am getting superrrr busy! We all know that warmer weather always gets people back out of the winter hibernation, but actually didn’t realised how packed my weekends are getting. This weekend is FULLY booked 🙌🏼 + only a couple spots left next weekend. Just a friendly reminder to you all to book in as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
