Muchxs pacientes llegan diciendo “tengo la piel horrible”, y siempre les recuerdo que las palabras que nos decimos importan muchísimo. Sé que es difícil: yo también pasé por momentos en que me hablaba muy mal cuando sufrí acné, y no veía cambios; cada vez me veía peor, y yo misma dañaba mi piel y me lastimaba a mí. Con los años, estudiando cosmiatría y profundizando en lo holístico, entendí que no se trata solo de lo que aplicamos en la piel: nuestras emociones, lo que comemos y cómo nos hablamos influyen mucho más de lo que creemos. 🌿✨

Many people come saying, “My skin is awful,” and I always remind them that the words we say to ourselves matter a lot. I understand it’s hard — I’ve been there too, when I spoke harshly to myself during my acne days and didn’t see any changes. The more I looked in the mirror, the worse I felt, and it hurt both my skin and me. Over the years, studying cosmiatry and exploring a more holistic approach, I’ve realized that it’s not just about what we put on our skin: our emotions, what we eat, and how we talk to ourselves have far more influence than we often think.

Y todavía no caigo todo lo que creció… y todo lo que crecí yo también.

Armar este post me llenó de alegría. Fue como hacer una pausa para mirar el camino recorrido y recordar que todo lleva su tiempo, pero con amor y dedicación, se puede.

Gracias de corazón a cada persona que confió en mí, desde aquellos primeros días en Canberra hasta hoy, acá en Sydney. Gracias por confiar, por recomendar, por volver.
