Flooring is almost done, stone benches are on the way, and now it’s full operation “put all the s**t back where it belongs” before Tuesday 😅
A lot of dust, late days and big decisions, but it’s all coming together and we’re obsessed already.
We seriously cannot wait to open the doors next Tuesday and invite you all back in to see what we got into over the holidays.

What a year! Thank you to our incredible clients and team for making 2025 so special. We couldn’t have done it without you!

For those who may not know, next year Teresa will be stepping into semi-retirement. After 30 incredible years of owning Creative Image, she has poured her heart, soul, and countless hours into this salon, caring for her clients and her team with unwavering dedication.

Teresa hasn’t just built a business she’s built a community. Her passion for hair, her work ethic, and the genuine love she has for her clients is something truly special and rare. Creative Image is what it is today because of her vision, her standards, and the way she has always led with kindness and integrity.

On a personal level, I feel incredibly grateful to have worked alongside Teresa for the past 18 years. She has been the most amazing boss, mentor, and role model. I have loved every minute of our journey together, learning from her, growing under her guidance, and sharing so many memories along the way.

As Teresa’s daughter-in-law, I’m so excited and proud to be taking over the salon from the 13th January 2026. I’m Rachelle, and I’ll be running Creative Image alongside Teresa in the mornings, with Janri also continuing with us. We’re all committed to carrying on the legacy, love, and high standards that Creative Image has always been known for

As she begins this new chapter one filled with well-deserved breaks, and more time for herself. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for everything she has given to this salon and to all of us. Her legacy will always be part of Creative Image, and I am so honoured to continue what she has built.

Yesterday marked 30 years of me owning Creative Image Hairdressers, and I’m feeling so incredibly grateful as I reflect on this journey.

To our amazing clients – new and old – thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your loyalty, trust, and support have allowed this little dream to grow into something so special. You’ve become more than just clients – you’re part of the Creative Image family.

To my husband – thank you for believing in me from the very beginning. Your quiet strength, love, and unwavering support have helped carry this dream through all its seasons.

To my three beautiful children – thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for cheering me on every step of the way. You’ve been my inspiration more than you’ll ever know.

To the Carlton Street Shopping Centre – thank you for your continued friendship and support over the years. Being part of this community has meant so much to me, and I’m so proud to call it home.

And to my two incredible team members – thank you for your dedication, your talent, and the heart you bring into the salon each day. I couldn’t do it without you, and I wouldn’t want to.

Here’s to 30 years of cuts, colours, conversations, and connections. I’m beyond grateful for the journey so far, and so excited for what’s still to come.

It’s hard to believe, but Teresa is celebrating 30 years of owning and running Creative Image — and what an incredible journey it’s been!

From raising three amazing kids, to working side by side with her beloved mum before she passed, the salon has always been filled with love, laughter, and life. 💖

A special thank you to Teresa’s husband, whose support helped turn a dream into a reality. 💫

Over the years, Teresa has not only built a beautiful space for clients — she’s also passed on her passion by training both her daughter and daughter-in-law, continuing the Creative Image legacy through family. ✂️👩‍👧‍👰‍♀️

To all our wonderful clients — thank you for your trust, loyalty, and friendship. And to our shopping centre community — thank you for always bringing the vibe!

Challenge accepted! This lovely client wanted an even natural colour without the pink and yellow. Whilst keeping the hair in great condition. We were pretty happy with the end result.
