Here are some tips on preparing your body for your spray tan to ensure an even sun kissed look :)

1. Thoroughly exfoliate your body the night before using exfoliating hand gloves or a washer used firmly. Pay special attention to feet, ankles, knees, elbows as these areas tend to be drier and may ‘grab’ too much tan.

2. Hair removal must be done prior to tanning. Wax 24 hours before. Shaving on the day is fine (if you have sensitive skin shave day before)

3. Do not moisturise your body, or apply deodorant, wear makeup or perfume to your tanning session. These cause a barrier on the skin hindering development of full colour potential. You may moisturise your face, elbows, knees and feet if you find you are quite dry in those areas. This will assist the tan to not grab too much on those areas.

4. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Most women wear a g-string, full brief or go n**e. For guys, boy shorts or briefs.

5. Wear loose, dark clothing after tanning. No tight clothing, closed in shoes or boots. Jewellery will have to be removed and a bra cannot be put back on. These items rub on the tan and the outcome is an uneven result.
