I know it’s hard… to walk the line between giving them space but still being a present supportive teen parent, sometimes they need another adult to talk to. We offer counselling in Canberra and have loads of experience in working with teenagers, our clients even like coming to sessions!
Would have been amazing to be there …

That if they struggle to talk to you they won’t be able to get anything out of therapy. I have time and it’s my job to help them feel safe enough to talk. They don’t need to know it all when they walk in.
