There’s something about this picture that makes me so sad and yet it’s so remarkably beautiful.. the lone tree....but like the sun we rise everyday not knowing what the day holds for us..mornings are always so hopeful, but also just melancholy. I took this photo as I was driving but not looking at what I was taking exactly...when I really looked at it, it made me see it like I’d seen it for the first time.Sometimes we feel alone....just gotta keep going, believe in the beauty, believe in the hope accept the melancoly and trust that in the end the big picture always ends up perfect. I received bad news later in that day and I can promise you that the heavy emotion I felt of the news I received made me see this picture differently.. i kept looking at the 5/6 I took, similar to this without looking at what i was actually photographing and all I literally saw was a heavy dark fog over it.. there was no contrast of colour the sun peered through the trees but it was all dull no vibrant orange and yellow. I didn’t even notice the house or if the sky was blue it looked grey before today.. I just thought well that was a set of s**t photos. Then....today, I saw it for what it really was, sheer perfection, the light the dark, the bright the pale the contrasts of emotions it brought up in me was ironic. It’s crazy how our deep emotions can make us literally see everything differently. Perception really is everything. How we feel deeply affects how we see things and it’s not that I haven’t known that before but today I felt the shift in me like nothing else. How we see things isn’t always how it is. We need to drop our egos and look within and maybe ask ourselves why am I seeing it that way? It made me think how easy it easy it is for us to self sabotage when we only see our perspective. Be honest with yourslef first... and talk to people who u know are honest and real with u sometimes talking and shifting that deep emotion that ur wearing like a protective skin.. is exactly what we need to do to just stop that burden of sadness turning into something permanent and finding a home in our subconscious. I dunno just really sharing my thoughts.
