🇬🇭 24-HOUR ECONOMY: A BIG PUSH FOR GHANA’S PRODUCTIVE TRADITIONS TO HELP PRESIDENT MAHAMA DELIVER THE DREAM
Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy should not simply be about keeping the country busy for 24 hours. It should be about making Ghana more productive, creating jobs, adding value and expanding exports—where the economics make sense.
One important opportunity is already in our communities: Ghana’s traditional productive industries.
Kente • Fugu • Woodcarving • Textiles • Basketry • Shea Processing • Leatherwork • Handicrafts • Indigenous Foods • Agro-processing
These are not merely traditions of the past. They can become industries of the future.
Government is already doing valuable work through GEPA, helping Ghanaian businesses participate in domestic and international trade exhibitions and connect with potential markets.
The next step is to build on that foundation.
Market exposure must become market access.
Market access must become orders.
Orders must become production.
Production must create jobs.
Growing businesses must generate exports and contribute to national revenue.
Imagine a national productivity pipeline:
IDENTIFY → SUPPORT → PRODUCE → CERTIFY → MARKET → EXPORT → CREATE JOBS → GROW → CONTRIBUTE TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
A Kente weaver can become an international supplier.
A Fugu producer can become a fashion enterprise.
A woodcarver can become a furniture and interior-design manufacturer.
A basket weaver can develop contemporary products for tourism, hospitality, home décor and international markets.
A shea processor can develop globally competitive finished products.
A leatherworker can build a Ghanaian accessories brand.
An agro-processor can move from supplying raw materials to producing branded goods for domestic and international markets.
This is how we can transform heritage into industry, craftsmanship into enterprise, and culture into economic opportunity.
And as viable businesses formalise, grow and become profitable, they can contribute through applicable taxes and other statutory obligations—creating a broader:
PRODUCTION → EMPLOYMENT → EXPORT → REVENUE → NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CYCLE.
We do not need to choose between modern industry and traditional industry.
GHANA NEEDS BOTH.
We need factories, technology and infrastructure.
But we must also strengthen the productive enterprises already operating in our communities.
Because:
🇬🇭 A MARKET CANNOT SELL WHAT GHANA DOES NOT PRODUCE.
Let us give Ghana’s productive traditions the big push they deserve.
Our heritage can become industry.
Our culture can create jobs.
Our traditional knowledge can generate exports.
Our artisans can become entrepreneurs.
Our indigenous products can become global brands.

"We face neither East nor West; we face forward." — Dr. Kwame Nkrumah 🇬🇭
Today, we celebrate the visionaries who paved the way for our nation's freedom and identity. Every thread of history they created reminds us to keep building, innovating, and leaving a lasting mark with our hands and hearts.
Happy Founder’s Day to everyone working hard to shape Ghana’s future! 🇬🇭✨
Sunday has entered the chat. 😂❤️
No pressure. No unnecessary meetings. No “Madam, have you finished the work?” 😭
Just food, rest, peace and small enjoyment.
Happy Sunday, beautiful people! 🥰

Rest is earned, but dreams don't work unless you do.
Today was non-stop production, kitchen duty, parenting, and everything in between. But standing here at the end of the day, I’m just grateful I chose action over delay.
Procrastination is just fear in disguise. It tells you to wait. It tells you you’re not ready. But progress only happens when you show up anyway even on hectic days, even when you're tired.
Whatever dream you’re holding in your heart:
Stop overthinking it.
Put in the work today.
Don't quit when it gets chaotic.
You don't need a full day to make progress; you just need to start. What’s one goal you’re committing to showing up for right now?
Goodnight
Look it call a spade a spade. These kids are not learning at all.
How on earth will your children get grade 33,37,45 and you follow them to the placement center for the school to change how? Eh in our we were in shy to say we had 15 or grade 18 but kids 🥱.
