Pigmentation is one of those things that can quietly affect how you feel about your skin every single day. And when it is hormonal, it can feel even harder to shift.

My client had been dealing with melasma, a type of hormonal pigmentation that responds differently to treatment than other forms of pigmentation. No single product or one-off session was going to move it. She needed a plan, consistency, and the right combination of treatments working together over time.

Over six months we worked through a combination of Pico Laser and LariMedical peels in clinic, using different modalities at each stage to keep the skin responding. This was supported by a tailored LariMedical skincare routine at home, because with melasma, what happens between appointments matters just as much as what happens in clinic.

The two work hand in hand. Consistency across both is what creates lasting change.

The difference between the February and July images speaks for itself.

Skin is a journey, and this is what six months of commitment looks like.

If hormonal pigmentation or melasma has been on your mind and you are not sure where to start, I would love to have that conversation with you.

K had been putting her skin off for years. Not because she did not care, but because she did not know where to start or whether it was even worth starting. When she finally came in, we took the time to understand exactly what her skin needed and built a plan around it.

In her before you can see fine lines around the eyes, pigmentation across the cheeks, uneven skin tone and a dullness that had settled in over time. The kind of things that creep up gradually and feel impossible to shift on your own.

Here is what we did and why.

Tribella addressed the fine lines, skin laxity and overall firmness across her face and neck. Diamond Polar worked deeper to tighten and lift. LariMedical peels tackled the pigmentation, uneven tone and surface texture, bringing back a clarity and luminosity that had not been there in years.

Six months. The right plan. Real commitment. The difference speaks for itself.

If you have been putting your skin off and telling yourself you will get to it eventually, K's results are proof that eventually is worth starting now.

I get asked this more often than you'd think.

A Skin Health Assessment/consultation and it's the part you really don't want to skip. It's where I keep you safe and make sure you actually get the result you're after.

In that assessment, I go through your skin history and any medications, because some of them (like certain acne treatments and strong actives) change what's safe to do and when. For treatments like laser and tattoo removal, it's where I check your skin type and patch test, so we avoid burns or pigment surprises. It's also where we map out a realistic plan and timeline, instead of guessing and hoping.

So can we skip it? Not a chance, and honestly you wouldn't want me to. If there's a treatment you've been thinking about, book your Skin Health Assessment first and let's do it properly.

If you have ever stood in front of a retinal product wondering which one is actually right for you, you are not alone. It is one of the most common questions I get asked.

Retinal is one of the most effective ingredients for skin health, but starting at the wrong strength can do more harm than good. Too strong too soon and your skin will let you know about it. Too gentle for too long and you are not getting the results you could be.

The Medik8 Crystal Retinal range takes the guesswork out of it. Each strength is designed with a specific skin type and concern in mind, so you are always working with your skin rather than against it.

Swipe through to find yours.

If you are still not sure which strength is right for where your skin is right now, I would love to help you figure that out. DM me or book a skin health assessment, via the link below.

This is what consistency looks like.

My client came to me with inflamed, reactive skin and brows that had been bothering her for a long time. Hormonal changes had been affecting her skin, and she knew this was not a quick fix or a trend. It was something she had to commit to, and she did.

We started with a course of LED and IPL to calm the inflammation and support overall skin health. From there we introduced Photo Rejuvenation to target the broken capillaries and diffused redness, and Nano Fractional Resurfacing to work on texture and support the skin's repair process.

Once her skin was in a stronger place, we moved into a maintenance program incorporating peels, Deka Toro laser toning and LED, which we always include to support and calm the skin at every stage.

Alongside her skin journey, we also worked on her brows with laser tattoo removal, clearing the way for her natural brows to finally shine through.

The result is not one treatment. It is a relationship between my client and her skin, built over time with the right support at every stage.

This is exactly what I love about working with clients on a longer journey. When we commit to a plan and trust the process, the skin has the opportunity to genuinely change.

If you have been wanting calmer, more luminous skin and do not know where to start, that is exactly what I am here for.

I am taking a little time away and wanted to let you know before I go.

From Thursday 28 August I will be offline until Friday 12 September, spending some time in Melbourne and the Gili Islands just of Bali. It has been a big year and I am very ready for it.

While I am away, you can still book online anytime via the link in bio. I will be checking DMs and emails when I can, but responses will be slower than usual.

I cannot wait to come back refreshed and ready for the rest of the year with you all.

See you soon. 🤍

We spend so much time looking after our faces. Our hands though? They are often the last thing we think about, and the first thing that gives away our age.

My client came in for one session of photo rejuvenation on her hands, targeting the pigmentation and uneven skin tone that had built up over time. One session. This is the result.

The skin looks clearer, more even and noticeably more youthful, and she did not have to think twice about it once we were done.

If your hands have been quietly bothering you and you have never thought to do something about it, this might be the nudge you needed.

Your skin deserves a plan. Click the link below to book your skin health assessment.

One of the things I hear most often after this appointment is "I had no idea this was even possible."

3D ar**la tattooing is one of the most meaningful things I do in clinic, and it is also one of the least talked about. So many people go through breast reconstruction and come out the other side not knowing that this next step exists, or that it is even an option for them.

What you can see in these images is a client who came to me after surgery. The before shows the breast post reconstruction, and the after shows the result of her 3D ar**la tattoo. The difference is not just visual. For so many of my clients, this is the moment that something finally feels complete.

The work is done with incredible care and patience. We work around scarring, we consider tone, shape and symmetry, and we take as much time as each person needs. No two appointments are the same because no two journeys are the same.

If you or someone you know is on the other side of breast surgery and was not aware this was an option, please feel free to share this post or reach out directly. My DMs are always open. 🤍

Something I do not talk about enough is what actually happens after brow tattoo removal, and I think it is worth sharing honestly.

Removal is never just a one-off session. It takes multiple sessions, and the results depend on a few things - the saturation of the pigment, the type of pigment used, and how the skin responds over time. Every client is different, and that is exactly why there is no one-size-fits-all answer.

What you can see here is the result after five sessions, fully healed. Each session has been eight weeks apart, which gives the skin the time it needs to break down the pigment properly and recover between treatments. This is not what the skin looks like straight after a session, this is what patience and consistency look like.

As the skin settles and heals after each treatment, the pigment continues to fade and the real result starts to show.

This client is now ready for her new brows! ✨

For some of my clients, removal opens the door to a fresh set of brows. For others, it is simply about clearing something that no longer feels like them. Both are completely valid places to start.

If you have been curious about what removal could mean for your brows, I would love to have that conversation with you. DM me if you have any questions, I would love to help.
