artistry gig began at M.A.C Cosmetics in 2009 at 16 years old, one of their youngest employees globally. I further developed my soft and blended aesthetic as a Skin and Colour Specialist in Melbourne at Mecca Cosmetica, home to some of the most renowned cosmetic brands and products internationally. Working alongside leading artists, top end training, and exposure to a wide variety of products has resulted in a makeup kit second-to-none, with a skillset reflective of extensive experience. As a freelance makeup artist, my career spans from fashion, editorial, advertising and bridal. Creating a connection with whoever is in my chair, and the role I play in combining my client’s natural beauty with artistic creativity is the most rewarding part of the gig. Throughout my 8 years in the industry, I've worked to a philosophy that translates through my results - makeup exists to enhance natural structure and compliment features, not to mask it. Skin that looks like skin, with a healthy, dewy glow, facial symmetry and blended contours & colour is at the premise of my work. This means, you'll leave looking like you - but on a really good day!
