Feeling hungry and after something low calorie to tire you over until your next meal?
Have a black coffee, I have two teaspoons and 2 stevia tablets which total at around 0.4-0.5 calories
Tastes sweet, gives you energy and satiates your hunger (due to the caffeine)
My favourite pre-workout by far and I know what's in it. There are no fifty letter ingredients just plant extract and coffee beans.

I get asked about cheat days and cheat meals a bit. My personal take is if you are trying to lose weight don't allow yourself a cheat meal until you reach a certain weight on the scales.
Also when you are having a cheat day it is best to keep your dietary fats pretty low and protein moderate, ensuring you get a high amount of carbohydrates into you. Sorbet, fruits and breads are up there with my top three choices on a carb up/cheat day.
Don't be stupid about it and unwind a weeks progress to satisfy some temporary cravings, be sensible about it and don't mindlessly eat everything you can see.
Cheat days are perfectly healthy to incorporate whether you are losing or gaining weight or even if your muscles are feeling a little flat.

Kirstie Michalak has had a massive change in shape over the last 6 months of training with me. Her overall strength and discipline have continued improving immensely. Her perseverance continues to astound me and she is never one to quit. Just a quick appreciation post.

2nd meal for the day today, 2 bacon egg and cheese with half a litre of lite milk with two scoops of WPI vanilla protein and lately I can't have it without cookies.
Not really tracking macros or calories but ball parking for around 3500 each day and only watching my protein (220-240 grams) and fibre (25-35 grams).
Don't listen to people that tell you to give up your favourite foods cause you also give up a piece of your sanity and the lifestyle change won't stick.

Don't skip deadlifts, squats or benchpress. These are the 3 greatest exercises for overall muscular development and strength.
See a lot of younger guys come into the gym and do some curls for a few weeks and expect big arms but go home and back it up with little to no nutrition.
See yourself to an accredited personal trainer who has adequate knowledge in regards to programming and base strength training.
Protein before or after your workout? Carbohydrates before bed are bad? What pre workout should you take?
It doesn't matter if you have 4 meals a day with 50 grams in each or one massive sitting of food with 200 grams of protein. You have to look at the big picture here.
Carbohydrates before bed are completely fine, I actually sleep a lot better with a stomach full of high carby foods like pastas and breads. Completely upto you as long as your calories are below maintenance for the day you will lose weight. There is no arguing with Thermogenesis.
Pre-workouts are often pretty high stim, generally people will use it when they are feeling a bit sluggish and next thing they know they are hooked on it and can't train without it. Pre-workouts aren't magic, you need to have adequate nutritional knowledge before undergoing any weightloss plan.

Not really health/fitness related but I see it's importance.
Sometimes we just want an easy way out from chasing the materials of this world that will all rust and burn away. Only the relationships you have will last an eternity. To sum it up, I'll ask you a question: When you're on your deathbed, do you want all of the achievements you strived for during your life by your side or do you want your friends?

Banana Ice-Cream
Ingredients-
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 tbsp honey
3 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup almond milk
3 tbsp almond butter
Sliced almonds, for garnish
Dark chocolate, for garnish
Directions-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Line a rimmed baking tray with baking paper paper. Place the banana slices onto the baking sheet and drizzle with the coconut oil and honey. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping once, until slightly golden. Let cool for 15 minutes, then transfer the banana slices to a Zip-lock bag and place in the freezer overnight.
Add the banana slices to a blender with the almond butter. Add in the almond milk a little at a time, processing in between pours, until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Serve immediately, topped with the sliced almonds and chocolate.
