Collagen is the building block of healthy, radiant skin! It is the most abundant protein in the human body, making up a significant portion of skin, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments. There are many different types of collagen in the body, but collagen type I and type III are the most common ones found in skin, and it’s what gives our skin its strength, elasticity and support. Unfortunately though, we start to lose the collagen in our skin at a rate of 1% per year from our mid 20’s. This loss is further accelerated during perimenopause and menopause. But it’s not all bad news. There are things we can do both in and outside the clinic to help stimulate and boost our collagen.

Due to some commitments out of town, I only have 5 clinics left before Xmas. And one of those is already fully booked, so really there’s only 4!! 😳
