Bridal makeup will always have such a special place in my heart. It’s not just about creating beautiful makeup, it’s the emotions, the excitement, the little moments in between, and the privilege of being there on such an incredibly special morning.

I love hearing everyone’s stories, getting to know the family and bridal party, and creating a look that feels completely personal to the bride. Being welcomed into these intimate moments and getting to play a small part in someone’s wedding day is a feeling I’ll never stop being grateful for. 🥹🤍

When I get a message that says,

“You did my daughter’s formal makeup, and now we have a wedding to attend. Can you glam all of us this time?” 🥹💕

The answer is always… YES! ✨

There is honestly no bigger compliment than having clients come back and trust me with another special occasion.

I’ve been terrible at remembering to take after photos lately, but I made sure to snap a quick one of this stunning young lady’s glam.

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to every single one of you for your continued support of SH Makeup Artistry. Your loyalty and trust mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that sometime within the next three months, I’ll be undergoing surgery to finally have my carpal tunnel released.

At this stage, I don’t have a surgery date, and I’ll only receive 72 hours’ notice before the procedure. Because of this, I wanted to let everyone know in advance so we can make the transition as smooth as possible.

For all clients who already have appointments booked, please don’t stress! Every existing booking will have a backup plan in place, so if I’m unexpectedly called in for surgery, you’ll still be looked after by one of the incredibly talented artists below.

If you’re a regular client for brows, nails, or any appointment that requires ongoing maintenance, I’d really appreciate it if you could book your returning appointments as soon as possible. This will allow me to schedule your maintenance both before I go on leave and after I return, ensuring your appointments are secured.

Please don’t worry if one of your scheduled appointments happens to fall while I’m recovering—if I’m unable to work, your appointment can be seamlessly transferred to one of the artists above, so you’ll continue to be well looked after.
