• Don’t clamp the straightener tightly the whole way through
This creates harsh lines through the hair. Keep it slightly open so it glides.

• Pull the straightener down, not away from the head
This creates a softer, more natural wave.

• Avoid double turning underneath on short hair
It makes the hair look too curly and over-styled.

• Straighten the ends slightly
Especially on shorter hair. This makes the style look modern and effortless.

• Never drop the curl before it cools
Let it set so the wave actually holds.

• ALWAYS use a heat protectant
Healthy hair = better styling.

WALKED INTO WORK AND HAD A FULL BLOWN PANIC ATTACK AFTER POSTING THE THIS! I feel defeated!

Definitely feeling super flat today. It was hard to get out of bed this morning.

The salon is back open, and overnight I found out another salon was targeted the same night as us.

Thankfully, they weren’t able to get inside. They noticed what they first thought was wind damage, but when their husband came to repair it, he said it didn’t look like wind damage at all. After seeing my story, they went back and checked their CCTV.

It turns out it was the same car, the same people, and the same crowbar. They had actually targeted their salon in Cranbourne West before coming to ours.

I’m absolutely gutted that another business had to experience this too, but I’m also relieved they weren’t able to get in. As strange as it sounds, knowing this wasn’t an isolated attack has given me a little bit of comfort.

It reminds me that this wasn’t personal-it was a group targeting local salons

This was actually filmed about a week and a half ago, before everything that’s happened over the last few days. ❤️

But I couldn’t not share this gorgeous transformation.
