ed hair salons within Australia and aboard cruise lines. most recently i was the the hair and makeup artist for for Mid North Coast weddings magazine - front cover and 12 page editorial shoot. I have worked within leading hair salons and makeup agencies such as Toni & Guy, Gibara, Aveda – Oscar & Oscar, Mari Vendrame just to name a few. I have also worked on set of Channel seven’s Home & Away, I completed many commercials, stills photography and editorial for Cleo, Oyster, Poster Yen Cultcher, FHM, and North Coast Weddings magazines. With such a diverse range of clients, I am very adaptable to any situation and individuals needs from the most basic, to the very complex. As hair and makeup styles and techniques are constantly evolving I am always researching new products, techniques and trends to provide the most timeless and flattering results. With the ability to analyse facial structures, I creatively and technically interpret the looks that my clients desire. Through my journey on becoming a top salon and freelance session stylist these are some of the many accomplishments i have achieved:
• Completed the Toni & Guy 4 year apprentice ship & Vardering Education Program with 12 models, in which i worked my way up to a Style Director where i was teaching and attended creative art team training weekly.
• Work at both Melbourne & Sydney Fashion Week for Toni & Guy Salon.
• Alternative Hair Show (Korea) where i preformed cutting and styling demonstrations on stage, along with theatrical shows (ballet productions)• Completed male hair Style make overs for FHM magazine and numerous editorial shoots
• Hair Expo Generation Next - the photo shoot featured in Culture Magazine
• Mercedes Benz Fashion Week working with designers to create looks for their shows
• Hair, make-up and special effect make-up on the set of Superman (the movie) at Fox Studios.
• Hair and make up for Tv show Home and Away channel 7
• Worked on a luxury cruise liner ‘Celebrity Constellation’,

Background Story:
Beginning my apprenticeship at a young age i realised that to achieve my desire to be a top salon and freelance session stylist i had to train and work in an environment that nurtured my ambition. So i moved to Sydney and worked within Toni & Guy’s Chatswood, pit street and paddington salons. What followed has created the hair stylist and make-up professional i am today. Following the amazing experiences i achieved whilst working at Toni & Guy salon i was offered a position at Gibara salon in the heart of Sydney, one of Australia’s leading salons at the time, doing session styling, and this business was more exclusive and included a photographic agency, Eye Management Image Consulting, which had a celebrity client base along with media and fashion houses This was the time i was able to start freelancing and establishing my own business “Kylee Boutique Salon”, working with photographers and modelling agencies who were the best in their field, doing shoots for high end models, magazines, high profile TV personalities and musicians. I then took some travel time working on a luxury cruise liner called ‘Celebrity Constellation’ where i was styling hair and travelling through many countries/cities, London, Berlin, Mediterranean, Russia, Sweden, Denmark to the Caribbean. Eventually home was calling and i came back to Sydney and started working at Aveda’s – Oscar & Oscar in Paddington Salon as an Art Director. i also joined Mari Vendrami Hair, Make-up & Photographic Agency creating looks again for TV commercials (Motorola, Carefree, oroton,ect) and a number of event parties and stills. After living in the city for a long time i decided to return home to the Mid North Coast i opened a small single studio in my home at Valla where i specialises in personal hair appointments either at my home salon at Valla or you can arrange mobile appointments. I offer wedding packages and cater to all events (formals etc.) Despite my wealth of experience, i still pride myself on being a ‘down to earth’ hairstylist makeup artist with a genuine passion for my vocation. my greatest motivation continues to be my clients, making them look fabulous and feel confident, ensuring their expectations are met and hopefully exceeded.
