Ok guys (gals), the time has come for me to rip the bandaid off. As of December I will no longer be taking bookings for the time being. Things have been slower and then slower again for some time now, and I get it. You can’t buy new eyebrows when it costs so much just to live at the moment. And it’s not going to get easier any time soon. With appointments getting more sparse I have made the difficult decision to lease my beautiful little shop to another wonderful soul new to the town (I’m sure you will hear more of this in time). Given we need 6 weeks between appointments for new clients , I will only be taking new appointments up until the second last week of November. Appointments are very limited so please be in touch if it’s something you have been thinking about. Thank you all for trusting me with your beautiful faces for the last five years and sharing your lives with me. I have loved every one of you.

Touch up session for this beauty, and even though her healed results were divine we wanted a little more oomph and definition so we have gone in with a slightly darker pigment and add more strokes.

Alrighty guys (gals) ~ now, firstly, this is not a sympathy post, but there comes a point sometimes where you have to call it with small businesses. In the coming weeks, if you’re local or visiting you may see a “for lease” sign in my window. This is because things are sloooooooow. Like, really slow. I’m not sure if I’ve just tattooed everyone in the district that’s wanted it or if it’s that our economy is just so tough right now and people can’t afford all the luxuries. And I get it, eyebrows and lips come after groceries. It is tough right now, I’ve seen it coming for a while, so many small businesses probably do. I am lucky in that we are firstly farmers and ag contractors, and that this is my side passion. But, it is my passion. I love it. It excites me. But tattooing is something you need to be doing quite regularly to keep that muscle memory and keep your skills up. I have made the decision to firstly, try and lease out the other room in my shop, but should someone come along who fancies the whole building and both rooms, with new bookings becoming fewer and further between I would take that opportunity, and for the moment being, my little tattoo business would be on halt. If you have existing bookings please do not worry, nothing will be happening in a hurry. But if you have been thinking about having some cosmetic tattooing, this is just a courtesy to let you know that there may come a point, that I am no longer here to offer it to you. I am so very grateful to our little town and all of the surrounds who have supported my passion for 5 years now, it’s been incredible and I have loved meeting all of you. You have trusted me with your beautiful faces and shared your lives with me. I will keep everyone updated should the time come when I am taking final bookings, keeping in mind we also need to allow 6 weeks following for second appointments. Thank you everyone :) Love Alyce

Colour correction ~ my beautiful client had old cosmetic tattooing (by another artist) which had gone a less desirable ashy blue tone. This was also microblading which shows what happens when artists place their strokes too close together and or too deep. The lines have blurred and migrated leaving a more solid looking cool cosmetic tattoo as it has aged. For her first session our main goal was to neutralise that old pigment.
For this first session I am careful to only tattoo over the old tattoo, not over virgin skin so we don’t end up with rainbow eyebrows. I have used the machine to powder them to make sure all of that old pigment is neutralised.

If nothing else you’ll have lips! It’s the dead of winter, your pale, colourless (this is me) but colour in your lips gives your whole face LIFE. Lip blushing ~ helping you to look undead this winter.
