Forever asking myself how I got so lucky! Lucky enough to build The Hair Agency from an idea…moving from a small room I started from, to a slightly larger space where I established business collaborations that have blossomed into lifelong friendships with lacreo nail bar, to renting my first commercial complex for now over 3 years, and now a proud owner of after purchasing the complex itself 2 months ago!

When i first came to Australia I said il be here a month. That month extended to a year. A year extended to 10. And now being 14 years, with 11 of those have been a slow and structured growth of THE HAIR AGENCY.

The reason behind the name? I wanted to create a business where people can work together in an environment that’s supportive, successful and driven. I didn’t want people to come and work for ME, Charlotte McKinney under my name!

I wanted the stylist as an individual, to STAY individual and to create and build their own success, in their own way with the hair agency behind them, pushing and rooting for them to succeed.

My motto has ALWAYS been there is success out there for everyone. And I’m a very competitive and determined person (🐏♈️) BUT I thrive on others going after dreams and goals and will always push for this. You can never stop learning!

The hair agency now represents 7 incredibly talented people from across the globe in one spot. We have Rachel, jake, Jamie, Jade, Katie, Nicole, Jess. 🌏

Each person who works at the hair agency are all an equal part of the collective who has helped build and curate the hair agency into what it is today. From your own expertise, drive, passion and genuineness you have created the last 3 years of the hair agency and have made it the best home for not only the bestest and coolest clients walking through our doors, but for yourselves.

I know all salons will say it, but i truely believe when I’m at work, I’m hanging with my best mates creating magic. 🪄

We are all so lucky to have eachother and im so proud of every single one of them.
