What makes Calmé Beauty special is that we are building a science-led skincare brand exclusively for sensitive skin, rather than treating sensitivity as just another product variant. Our formulations combine clinically tested actives, barrier-first science, neurocosmetic ingredients, and dermatologist validation, while remaining fragrance-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and accessible. We are bridging the gap between dermatological efficacy and everyday affordability, making evidence-based sensitive skincare more accessible in India and, eventually, globally.

Your role/part:
Apart from being the Founder, I am a Certified Cosmetic Chemist and Natural & Organic Formulation Scientist, directly involved in product development and formulation. My personal experience with sensitive skin, combined with my technical expertise, drives Calmé Beauty’s product philosophy and gives the brand a strong founder–product fit.

How have your studies helped progress?
My studies have played a direct role in building Calmé Beauty. My MBA has helped me understand business strategy, sales, market positioning and growth, while my Diploma of Personal Care Formulation has given me the technical expertise to develop evidence-based formulations. This combination of business and formulation knowledge allows me to take informed decisions across product development, quality, positioning and commercial growth.
