I’ve reached that beautiful stage in my career where I’m now tanning my girlfriends’ daughters 👯‍♀️

Welcoming them in for their very first glow and then seeing them all glammed up and looking THIS gorgeous… it’s so damn special and hands down one of the best parts of my job! 🤎✨♥️

If you’ve booked in for a tan over the last week or so, you may have noticed my booking menu has had a little GLOW UP ✨

Thanks to a new Fresha update, you no longer need to book extra time for salon favourite GlowDry™️ Fake Tan Drying Powder you can now simply add it, along with any of my new glow extras, when booking your tan.

You may have also spotted THREE exciting new additions to the menu that I’ve been busy trialling and testing behind the scenes 🧪🦵🏽

All of these little extras are designed to boost hydration 💦 help extend the longevity of your tan ✨ and give your skin a little extra LOVE 🤎 Especially if you haven’t managed to give it quite as much love as you should have before your appointment… no judgement here 👀

🫧 PREP - My new Pre-Tan pH Balancing Mist, designed to balance your skin’s pH and create the perfect canvas for your spray tan, helping your colour develop smoother, more evenly and last beautifully. This one has already had exceptional feedback from the lovely clients who have been trialling it for me!

💦 BOOST - From skincare-focused cult tanning brand GOLD COAST, BRISBANE & WHITSUNDAYS BRIDAL TANS + EDUCATION , Hyaluronic Acid Infusion Drops are added directly to your tan solution to give thirsty skin an extra hit of hydration, helping your tan look smoother, more radiant and hydrated.💦

🤎 FINISH - The VERY highly anticipated Velvet Nectar Post-Tan Dry Oil Mist, arriving in salon next month by my gorgeous glow girlfriend ✨Personal Tanner / Spray Tan Expert / Morningside QLD✨. Applied as the final step after your spray tan to deeply hydrate and nourish your skin while your tan develops.

You can add PREP, BOOST, GLOW or FINISH individually to your tan, or ask me in salon which one best suits your prep, skin, routine and common tanning outcomes.

And as always, my Nervous Client notification 🫶🏼, ni**le covers, strapless G-string and Double Dark options are all still available to add when booking!

While the responses reflected what I typically see in the salon (around 70% in favour of tanning the face and 30% preferring not to), the feedback was so interesting.

“Spray tanned!!”

“I prefer it because it’s nice to start with an even base! Unless they have super dry or acne-prone skin, I always ask them to have their face sprayed.”

“I think it depends on their skin type and what kind of makeup they want! But as a general rule, a light spray.”

“I said no, but I’m fine if it gets sprayed, as long as they still use their skincare after 😂😂”

“I like sprayed, especially if they want less coverage on their skin! To even out their body colour to their face takes more product, whereas if the face is tanned you can use much less foundation.”

“No! Clings to dry patches or any texture, makes makeup colour match off, makeup looks muddy. I could go on and on hahaha.”

“Definitely face ✔️”

As you can see, there’s no right or wrong answer. Every makeup artist has their own preference, so if you’re having your makeup professionally done, the best thing you can do is ask your MUA what they prefer 🤎
