🚨 Council Update - Further deterioration of the Star Hotel in Corowa 🚨

Federation Council understands the ongoing concern about the historic Star Hotel on Sanger Street. Your safety is our top priority!

In response to continued risks and reports of falling debris, Council is taking further action.

👷‍♂️Effective immediately, Council is installing protective hoarding and tunneling along the footpath next to the Star Hotel. Please adhere to all pedestrian detours - this structure is essential to shield the public from potential hazards.

👉 We also want to update you on the legal process: Council has initiated legal proceedings in the Land and Environment Court following the owner's non-compliance. A full report on the legal action and next steps will be presented at the December Ordinary Meeting.
