✨ A Little Update from The Hair Room ✨

I just wanted to give everyone a little update and, firstly, say a huge thank you for your patience and understanding over the past few months +. 🤍

Things at The Hair Room have been a little messy lately. There has been quite a lot happening personally, while also trying to get everything organised with the new salon in Whyalla, working out how we’re going to operate between both locations, and everything else that comes along with making such a big change.

Going forward, The Hair Room trading days will alternate between Sarah and I, with Monday & Tuesday one week, and Tuesday & Wednesday the following week. This is the schedule we’ll be working towards from now on while we get everything settled between Cowell and Whyalla.

I also just want to make something really clear, respectfully. The way The Hair Room operates, our trading days, changes, or anything happening within our business is not the responsibility of the Beauty Room or the other businesses operating within the salon. We completely understand that changes can be frustrating, but please don’t take that frustration out on other businesses. Everyone is simply trying to run their own business, and they shouldn’t have to cop abuse or negativity because of a situation that has nothing to do with them. 🤍

The next couple of weeks may still be a little messy while we get everything organised, but we are working really hard behind the scenes with the goal of having both locations running properly and smoothly within the next few weeks.

For anyone who has messaged me and is still waiting for a reply — I promise I haven’t forgotten about you! I am working my way through messages and getting back to everyone as quickly as I possibly can. There is a lot happening at the moment, and I’m trying to juggle clients, the new salon, the existing salon, family and everything else in between.

Thank you so much to all of our amazing clients who have been patient, understanding and supportive while we navigate this transition. It genuinely means more than you know. 🥹🤍

✨ Big News – The Hair Room is Growing! ✨

It's official... I finally have the keys to our new salon in Whyalla! 🗝️🤍

I'm so excited to finally start bringing this new space to life. Over the next few weeks, you'll see plenty of behind-the-scenes updates as I transform it into a beautiful new home for The Hair Room.

I'm also so excited to share that I won't be doing it alone! My beautiful sister-in-law from Luxe Nails & Beauty will be joining me, and there's another exciting addition to our little space that I'll be sharing with you very soon. Together we'll be creating a welcoming little space where you can enjoy all your hair, beauty and nail services under one roof. I can't wait for you all to see what we're creating!

For my amazing Cowell clients, don't worry—I'm not going anywhere! The Cowell salon will just be changing a little. We'll soon be operating from a smaller, dedicated space within the current salon.

From September, I'll be travelling back to Cowell every second week to look after my Cowell clients, and on the alternate weeks Sarah will be there to keep things running smoothly. This means you'll still have the same friendly faces and great service, just with a slightly different setup.

Over the coming weeks, there will be a few changes, including:

🤎 A brand-new page dedicated to The Hair Room Whyalla.
🤎 Our new salon address and opening details will be announced soon.
🤎 Sneak peeks, renovation updates, and progress photos as everything comes together.
🤎 Information about booking appointments in both Whyalla and Cowell.

I honestly can't wait to share this journey with you all. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my little business along the way—it truly means the world.

I can't wait to welcome both my existing and new clients through the doors.

An Announcement to All My Lovely Clients at The Hair Room Cowell

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your patience and support over the last 6-7weeks. It has meant more than you know.
I’ll be returning to work as of tomorrow.

I also want to give a very special thank you to Sarah Charlotte Gill for holding down the fort and keeping the salon running during this time. Even though it was only a couple of days each week, your help has been invaluable, and I truly can't thank you enough.

As some of you may have heard, and some may not have, things are going well for myself and my family. With that in mind, we've made the decision that best suits our family, and that means my husband, our four children, and I will be making the move to Whyalla in the near future.

This is an exciting new chapter for us, and I'll also be relocating The Hair Room to a beautiful new space in Whyalla.

But please don't panic—I am not leaving my Cowell clients behind!

We will continue operating right here in Cowell each week, just in a slightly different way. The Beauty Room will be taking over the entire salon space and kindly providing me with my own area to continue working from.

The plan is to be in Cowell two days each week, while the Whyalla salon will be open five days a week.

For any of my wonderful Cowell clients who feel like making the trip to Whyalla, I'll be offering a special discount as a thank you for travelling to see me.

Once we have confirmed our opening days and hours in Cowell, we will share all the details. We will also announce our new Whyalla salon location as soon as everything is up and running.
For the meantime the hair room will be open from Monday-Thursday by bookings only.

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, loyalty, and understanding. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and am so excited to share this next chapter with you all.

The Hair Room Cowell

Hi clients,

I just wanted to update you all as the previous posts, the salon is closed this week (28/4–1/5). From the week starting 4/5, we will be open on Monday and Tuesday with Sarah.

Without going into too much detail, I’ve had to take a short step back from the salon due to personal reasons. Please know that I will be returning, and The Hair Room is not closing—so there’s no need to worry.

I sincerely apologise for not reaching out sooner to those who had appointments this week. I will be in touch to reschedule as needed.

I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience caused, and I really appreciate your understanding during this time. I look forward to being back soon.

Sarah will be available in the salon on Mondays and Tuesdays for bookings.

Until I return, the salon will be open on these two days only. I’ll keep you all updated as soon as I have a return date.

✨ February and onwards Hours Update ✨

Just a quick heads up lovely people 💕
For the time being, The Hair Room will be open 5 days a week, with the chance of a Saturday here and there until further notice.

As for February, trading hours will be:

✂️ Monday: 10–4
✂️ Tuesday–Thursday: 9–5
✂️ Friday: 9–3
✂️ Saturday: By appointment / request only

After a well-earned break following a busy 2025, The Hair Room is back in full swing as of this week.
There are only a few appointments left available for this month.

On another note, there will be some changes coming soon, including a slight adjustment to opening days:

• Monday: 10am–4pm
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 9am–5pm

These hours and days are only temporary while further changes are finalised — I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
