PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, is prepared from a small sample of your own blood.

The process is simple: blood is drawn, then processed in a centrifuge for around five minutes. This forms a fibrin matrix containing platelets and other components naturally found in your blood. No additives, no anticoagulants.

It's often discussed for facial skin, the under-eye area, and hair density, though suitability depends on individual assessment.

PRF is different to PRP. PRP is a liquid preparation. PRF forms a matrix and releases more gradually.
