I came home from my holiday with something sitting heavy on my heart…

For the first time in a long time, I had space to think. Really think.

And I realised somewhere along the way I had slipped into survival mode. Work, responsibilities, caring for everyone else, exhaustion… and somehow “me” got lost in all of it.

At 58, I honestly thought life was probably already mapped out.

But now I’m starting to wonder…

What if this next chapter could actually be exciting?

What if women over 50 are allowed to reinvent themselves too?

So here I am — slowly rebuilding my confidence, rediscovering myself and creating something that feels meaningful again.

It’s scary.
It’s uncomfortable.
But it also feels hopeful.

And maybe that’s enough for now 💛

🚫 I thought skincare just “stopped working” in my 50s… anyone else?

Honestly, I had no idea what I was doing.
I was a total skincare beginner — buying random products, hoping for the best… and getting nowhere.

There are SO many options out there — it’s overwhelming.
Where do you even start?

It wasn’t until my 50s that I actually learnt what my skin needed… what goes where, what’s worth it, and what’s just noise.

And if I’m being real… I wasn’t loving what I was seeing in the mirror.
My skin looked older, more wrinkled — and I didn’t feel like me anymore.

Do I wish I started earlier? Yes.
But I’m also just glad I finally figured it out.

My skin doesn’t look 30 — and that’s okay.
But it does look like the best version of me right now… and that feels so much better than chasing the past.
