POUR INTO YOU - PART 3 ✨
Wickham, you were beautiful! 🫶🏼
Another incredible morning of Pour Into You, bringing women together to move, connect, learn and have open conversations around their health and wellbeing.
A huge Thank you to Dust & Adversity for their incredible support and funding, allowing us to continue creating these events and making them accessible to women across the Pilbara.
Thank you to Pilates & Wellness Karratha for leading the movement side of our morning and giving everyone the chance to slow down, breathe, stretch and take a moment for themselves.
And of course, a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing local businesses and brands who generously donated products and goodies for our goodie bags. We were absolutely spoilt, and these little extras make the morning that much more special.
And finally, thank YOU to every woman who came along in Wickham. Whether you came to learn, connect, move, ask questions or simply take a couple of hours for yourself, we hope you left feeling a little more informed, supported and poured into.
That’s Pour Into You Part 3 done… and what a morning it was
Keep an eye out for another recap post coming this Friday!
Such a great day at Aesthetic Business Masters 2026.
A full day of learning, conversations and hearing from people who are doing things differently across the aesthetics industry.
One of my biggest takeaways was the reminder that growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about getting clearer on what you want your business to be, who you want to help and where you want to take it next.
Pilbara Cosmetic & Wellness has changed so much since I first opened the doors in 2023. What started primarily in aesthetics has grown into something much broader, with skin health, women’s health, wellness, education and community outreach becoming such a big part of what I do.
Days like this give me the chance to get out of the clinic, learn from others, reflect on how far the business has come and come home with plenty of ideas for what comes next.
Also very special attending this year as an Aesthetic Business Awards 2026 finalist.
Thank you Aesthetic Business Masters for a great event and to everyone who shared their knowledge and experience throughout the day.
Now back to the Pilbara with lots of ideas.

Your hair is so much more than what you see on the surface.
Every strand is an incredibly organised structure, from the protective cuticle, through the cortex, right down to the keratin proteins and amino acids that build it.
And when we zoom in even further? We reach the atomic level: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur, with sulfur playing an important role in the bonds that help give keratin its strength and structure.
Understanding the science of hair helps us understand why changes in shedding, density, strength or quality can sometimes be worth looking at beyond the surface.
Because healthy hair isn’t just about what we put on it, it’s also about understanding what’s happening underneath.

Your hormones don’t suddenly change overnight, they shift gradually through each stage of life.
From fluctuating oestrogen during perimenopause to declining progesterone and lower hormone levels after menopause, these changes can affect your cycle, sleep, mood, energy and overall wellbeing.
Symptoms can overlap, and every woman’s experience is different. If something doesn’t feel right, you don’t have to simply put up with it.
Book an appointment with our Registered Nurse Jessica to discuss your symptoms and receive personalised support

Women’s Health Week, Tom Price
What a week! I had the privilege of spending Women’s Health Week in Tom Price, connecting with local women and creating space for some really important conversations around our health and wellbeing.
From understanding perimenopause + menopause, to stress, burnout + emotional regulation, the Women’s Health & Wellness Expo, a beautiful Women’s Wellness Session, and catching up with mums at Coffee & Crawlers, we covered so much.
One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting out into our Pilbara communities, sharing knowledge and helping women feel more informed and confident when it comes to their health.
A huge thank you to Nintirri Centre Inc for having me, and to every woman who came along, asked questions, shared, listened and connected. 🫶🏼
Such a special way to spend Women’s Health Week.

September is Perimenopause Awareness Month
Perimenopause affects every woman who reaches natural menopause, yet 70% of women surveyed weren’t sure what it was.
It can last anywhere from 4–8 years, with changes to sleep, mood, concentration, periods and energy often brushed off as stress, burnout, ageing or another health concern.
This is why awareness matters. When women understand what perimenopause can look like, they’re better equipped to recognise changes, ask questions and seek the right care and support.
If something doesn’t feel like you, you deserve to feel heard. Book a women’s health consultation with our Registered Nurse to start the conversation.

A big thank you to the team at Karijini Eco Retreat for the warm hospitality and for taking the time to show me around the facilities.
What a beautiful part of the Pilbara. The setting, the accommodation, the facilities and, of course, the food were incredible.
It was great to visit, connect with the team and experience the retreat firsthand.
So many possibilities.

A huge thank you to Nintirri Centre for welcoming me to Tom Price and supporting a few days focused on women’s health and wellbeing.
It has been such a pleasure connecting with women from Tom Price through conversations around perimenopause and menopause, stress, nervous system regulation, skin health, nutrition and women’s health.
Thank you to the Nintirri team for organising the sessions, providing the space and helping bring everything together.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring Pilbara Cosmetic & Wellness to Tom Price and make health education and support more accessible for women living regionally.
Thank you to every woman who attended, asked questions, shared experiences and joined the conversations.
I hope this is just the beginning of more visits and health initiatives together.

Being audited might not sound like something you’d normally post about, but for me, this one matters.
On 25 August, Pilbara Cosmetic & Wellness underwent an audit by the WA Department of Health, Medicines and Poisons Regulation Branch.
I’m very pleased to share that our compliance with the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014 and Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016 was assessed as satisfactory.
As a nurse-led clinic providing cosmetic and health services in a regional community, there is a lot that happens behind the scenes.
Policies. Procedures. Medication storage and handling. Documentation. Clinical governance. Record keeping. Safety processes. Ongoing education.
Clients may never see most of this, but it is a major part of running a responsible healthcare service.
An audit is an opportunity for an external regulator to look closely at those systems and make sure the clinic is meeting its responsibilities.
Receiving this outcome means a lot to me, particularly as a sole operator who has built Pilbara Cosmetic & Wellness from the ground up.
For my clients, it provides another layer of reassurance that when you walk through my doors, your care is supported by processes designed around safety, accountability and professional standards.
Proud of what happens both in front of and behind the treatment-room door.
