Despite the heartbreak our family is carrying right now, I will still be flying up to Darwin tomorrow for work.
I have my reasons for going, and for now I’d prefer to keep those personal. ❤️
All Darwin appointments will be going ahead as planned.
I just ask you girls to please be gentle and patient with me. I’m going to show up, do what I love and get through each day as it comes — but I’m grieving, and I can’t promise there won’t be tears.
Right now, I actually need my Darwin girls. Come sit in my chair, make me laugh, tell me something ridiculous, or just give me a hug. Help me have a few hours where my heart gets to feel something other than sadness.
No promises on the tears. Free hugs very much accepted. 🥹❤️

Our beautiful Malekai Brayden Croxton — our Kaisy — lost his battle at just 12 years old.
There are no words big enough for this pain.
Kai, you fought harder than any child should ever have had to fight. Your little body endured so much, yet somehow you kept giving us that beautiful smile.
You were supposed to grow up.
You were supposed to have a future.
Twelve years was never enough.
Today we aren't ready to understand a world without you in it.
Go peacefully now, our beautiful boy. No more hospitals. No more fighting. No more pain.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we return.
May Allah surround you with mercy and give you the most beautiful place in Jannah.
