Hi all!! It’s with HUGE excitement I announce My Glow is accepting new clients.

Thought it’d be a good time to reintroduce myself as it’s been a while since I’ve reopened my books (aside from the one offs!).

My name is Jamie Collins. I’m a proud Eastern Arrernte woman, born and raised in Alice Springs but have lived in Darwin since 2007.

I have 2 little ones which is part of the reason I haven’t been taking new clients in the past year. But now they’re 2 and 3, it’s time for me to get back into what I love — doing makeup and tans!

About me — professionally trained spray tanner and makeup artist. I’m so fortunate that I’ve always had incredible clients during my makeup journey that as cliche as it sounds it never feels like work. I’ve missed doing makeup and connecting with my clients!

A huge thing I’ve struggled with in the past is overthinking which would turn to overwhelm and result in me never putting up content! This year I’m focusing on being less perfect on socials and just putting out content that you all frequently ask for; skin prep, brow products, setting makeup in the Darwin weather… what to ACTUALLY buy at Mecca etc etc. I plan on tailoring my content to our tropical Darwin climate because I truly believe unless you live in our climate you cannot appreciate how difficult it is to apply long lasting makeup. So any questions ask away!! I’m excited to make new content in my NEW STUDIO!

Everyday Glow Up Masterclasses are back!

The 3 hour workshop will be held at the gorgeous Freshwater Retreat and will go step by step through the makeup application process.

During the workshop you will learn how to properly prepare your skin, create a fresh natural base, create the perfect brows, and how to do a quick and easy smokey eye.

You will receive a cocktail on arrival, a grazing platter to nibble on throughout and your own eyeshadow pallette and brush kit to take home
with you.

Everyday Glow Up Makeup Masterclass

Last weekend I threw my very first makeup class with 12 beautiful women. Together we went through all of the makeup steps. We worked together on creating a simple smokey eye, how to prepare your skin, applying foundation and learning what contour and highlighting is.

I was so honoured to be able to share my makeup knowledge with everyone. It was such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

I am not one to do things in half’s and I am so fortunate that the beauty side of my business has taken off the way it has. It has been so unexpected and I am so grateful!
