What a pinch me moment 🥰
Feb 2025 I moved from Ipswich to Townsville, leaving behind my business I had built over 12 years. My heart broke to leave my beautiful loyal clients, the reputation I had built & the recommendations that flowed. Those clients had shared their life journeys with me. I had some clients that had their first spray tans with me for their 18th birthday & had never gone anywhere else in 10 years!
I moved to a town where I knew no one. How does one build a business & clientele in such a situation?
May 2025 I opened All Jazz’d Up - Townsville in a room I was renting in a gym, hoping & praying that from there I would be able to feed off their clientele.
There were days I sat in that room with no bookings. The self doubt was DEEP! Even after 12 years doing what I love, I still was my own worst critic.
But slowly bookings started to flow.
September 2025 we moved the salon back home here in Deeragun & it honestly was the best move on all fronts, business & personal.
Here I am, in my 15th month since opening in Townsville, reading the beautiful reviews people are leaving - people that have so many options to choose from - & they chose me.
The fact that they are so happy with their services is honestly priceless to me.
I never have been a ‘popular’ girl, I don’t keep up with what is trendy on social media (as a solo entrepreneur Beauty Therapist marketing is not my strong suit, just ask my daughters 🫣) but being able to help people feel good & love their reflection is what it is all about for me.

My salon space is a vault, you can overshare (or not share at all) & that is completely fine. Because at the end of the day we all need safe spaces, where we are accepted for who we are. & that is what everyone that walks through that door has given me ❤️

This is so much more than a teeth whitening before & after… 🥹🤍
When this beautiful client came in for her Deluxe Triple Teeth Whitening treatment, she confided in me that she had become incredibly self conscious about her teeth.
She told me she never really smiled properly anymore, and even though she loved wearing lipstick, she had stopped because she felt it drew attention to her teeth.
As we age, our teeth can naturally become darker or develop more of a grey or yellow hue. Professional teeth whitening can help lift years of staining and discolouration, creating a brighter, fresher looking smile.
And her reaction to her results?
To say she was happy would be an understatement.
But the best part came a few days later when she messaged me to tell me she was wearing lipstick to work and had received so many compliments on her beautiful smile and on how happy she looked.

Yes, I love a gorgeous before & after, but it’s never just about whiter teeth. It’s about helping someone feel confident enough to smile without thinking about it. To wear the lipstick. To stop hiding something they were once self-conscious about.
Sometimes a beauty treatment really can be about so much more than beauty.

For a Saturday event, I always recommend having your spray tan on the Thursday. Two days before your event gives your tan time to fully develop, settle beautifully and look its absolute best on the day.
Can’t make Thursday? Wednesday or Friday are absolutely fine too, and we can adjust your rinse time to suit.
I still have a few Thursday appointments available for BOTH race weeks, but these are always popular dates, so don’t leave your tan until the last minute!
