Deep pigment in a darker skin type takes time and patience to treat and reduce. A q switch laser targets pigment and shatters it so the tiny particles can be removed from the skin via the lymph system.

My 71 years young client came to me a month before her daughters wedding. We decided to target the pigment in particular, that way her makeup would not have to be too heavy on the day to cover it up. I used my IPL machine, but with 2 seperate settings on different parts of her face. Pigment setting on the sides and rejuvenation on the forehead and middle face. The first photo is when she initially came to me, and second photo is 3 weeks later for a hydration facial just before the wedding. 😊😊 Check out both sides of her face

But this is a result I had to share! Superficial pigment from the summer sun is pretty hard to avoid, but can make your skin look more harsh and aged then you might like.
