Idlewild

New crystals and fossils have arrived at Idlewild ✨️🖤
...and more crystals, books and gifts are still heading our way. I’ll need a moment to unpack everything, but you’re welcome to wander in while I’m pottering around.

Open today from 12.30 at 2B, 13 South West Hwy, Donnybrook..

Spot the sign? Here is what it means:

If you are new to Idlewild: Welcome! This is where you'll find me.

If you have an appointment: Come on in!

I structure each day with a thoughtful time buffer between massage bookings to keep your visit entirely private, calm, and unhurried. When you see this sign outside, it means your space is ready for you...no crowded waiting rooms and zero rush.

That unhurried pace also applies when you're finished. Take a moment to linger, to browse the shop afterward and extend your self-care by finding a unique curiosity for yourself or a special gift for family, or lock in your next booking before you step back out into the world.

Looking forward to welcoming you soon! ✨

Massage + Sauna Availability:

If you’re feeling that tight, achy, heavy load across the top of your shoulders and neck, or that slow burn creeping into the rhomboids...it’s usually from posture habits, muscle compensation, or just repeating the same movements every day.
This is exactly what I help with at Idlewild.

With a full‑body therapeutic relaxation massage and slow, targeted work through the traps, neck stabilisers, and mid‑back, it helps to support relaxation and release those overworked areas.

Add in an infrared sauna session afterwards, and not only does it continue your zen journey, but it also helps boost your circulation, warms the tissues, and helps the area stay relaxed instead of tightening back up.

I’ve got a few massage + sauna appointments remaining this week if your neck and shoulders have been tense, or you're in need of some self-care.

Sometimes your body just needs to hit pause.

Unlike traditional steam saunas that heat the air around you, infrared heat penetrates deep into your muscle tissue and joints. It’s gentle, deeply warming, and offers real, physical benefits:

🌿 Soothes Sore Muscles & Joints: Deep thermal heat increases blood flow, bringing oxygen and vital nutrients directly to tired, aching muscles to accelerate recovery.

🌿 Relieves Tension & Calms the Nervous System: The steady warmth helps shift your body out of "fight-or-flight" and into a state of deep rest, lowering cortisol and easing mental stress.

🌿 Boosts Circulation & Heart Health: As your core temperature gently rises, your heart rate and vascular flow increase- giving you a cardiovascular boost similar to a light walk while you simply lie back and unwind.

🌿 Enhances Sleep Quality: A session in the heat helps regulate your body’s natural circadian rhythm, signaling to your brain that it’s time for deep, restorative sleep tonight.

Two Ways to Enjoy:
The Ultimate Post-Massage Upgrade: Step straight into the heat after your treatment to prolong muscle relief and lock in deep relaxation.

Standalone Heat Session: Drop in for a quick 30-minute solo reset to recharge your body and mind.

✨ Includes 1 complimentary sauna towel.

A little labor of love has landed on the shelves at Idlewild… 🌿✨

For a long time, I’ve wanted to create something that lets you take the quiet, restorative sanctuary of the studio home with you. Over the last few months, between clients, I’ve been sitting at my workbench hand-blending, mixing, and packing a brand-new range of micro-batch apothecary goods...and my online store is officially live so you can explore them all!

Every herbal blend and bath soak is crafted right here in Donnybrook with a clear, simple intent: to help you slow down, ground your energy, and carve out quiet moments in your week.

Micro-Batch Botanical Ritual Blends: Hand-mixed using Wildcrafted + Organic Herbs... Mullein as a pillowy smoke base, paired with herbs like lavender, Peppermint, Calendula and crisp Sage. Sprinkle a pinch over a glowing charcoal disc or burner, and let the warm, fragrant haze fill your room, whether you’re clearing stale energy after a long day, sitting down with your tarot cards, or preparing for deep sleep. Each blend has an intention behind it....

Restorative Botanical Bath Soaks: Created with the deep intent of personal renewal....Inspired by the ritual of writing down heavy thoughts or old stories on paper and burning the pages to let them go. Every ingredient carries this symbolism of a clean slate, combining mineral-rich Black Salt to draw out heavy energy and physical muscle tension with the warm, smoky wood notes of Buddhawood to bring the grounding aroma of fire and ash directly into your bathwater. Paired with whole organic botanicals to soothe an overstimulated nervous system, it offers a complete physical and energetic reset. And so you can focus entirely on releasing what no longer serves you, every soak includes its own reusable cloth bath tea bag to keep your tub completely mess-free! 🛀

Curated Studio Treasures & Gifts
Alongside my hand-blended range, the studio shelves are overflowing with curated magic to explore...from hand-selected crystals and spellbound books to unique oddity jars, ritual tools, handcrafted gifts, and so much more for your home altar or quiet nooks.
