⚠️ Colour correction isn’t the answer for every set of brows. Sometimes, removal comes first.

One of the hardest parts of being a cosmetic tattoo artist is knowing when to say no.

Not every set of brows can be corrected by simply adding more pigment. If the previous tattoo is heavily saturated, layering more colour over the top can make the brows darker, muddier, and even more difficult (and expensive) to remove in the future.

Honest advice will always come before making a sale.

A true correction is only possible when the old tattoo has faded significantly or has been professionally removed to create a suitable canvas. In many cases, this means laser removal or saline removal is the safest and most effective first step.

Permanent makeup is exactly that—permanent. Pigment changes over time, oxidises, and settles differently in every skin type. Sometimes the best outcome comes from starting fresh rather than trying to cover up old work.

If you’ve been told your brows can be “fixed” without assessing whether removal is needed first, it’s worth getting a second opinion.
