INTRODUCING Mavko Beauty Studio, previously known as Brow Designs By Amy. You may have noticed that for a while now I haven’t been just brows, so I thought it was time for a sneaky rebrand!

I opened this business as a side hustle at the beginning of 2020 alongside my part time job as an early childhood educator (complete different industry I know 😂🫣) and after I had my eldest son Koa I went straight back to working 4 longgg days a week when he was only four months old. It’s true when they say time goes fast when you have kids, and I felt like I missed out on a lot of time spent with him - plus it’s no secret that the childcare industry is physically and mentally exhausting, I was coming home and I felt like I didn’t have much left in the tank to be the best mum I could be for him. Something needed to change, so at the beginning of last year I decided to leave that position and focus on growing my business. Fast forward to now and I’m doing what I have a strong passion for, I’m working less but making more 💰 meaning I get to spend more time with my boys, whenever I want to and spoil them more 😉

Therefore “Mavko” is created from a combination of both my son’s names, Maverick and Koa - and is a reminder that I do this job not only for myself but for THEM.

Thank you to everyone that has been patient with me as I’ve been on maternity leave the last few months, I am so excited to get back into the salon and welcome back previous clients and meet new faces!
