BENEFITS OF USING HEAT

Why do massage therapists encourage the use of heat to treat tired and sore muscles? Applying heat causes vasodilation of blood vessels, which results in increased circulation and blood flow to the area. As a result this can ease muscle tension, relax injured and tight muscles and improve flexibility

FUNCTIONAL RELEASE CUPPING

In addition to myofascial cupping, I have completed further qualifications to enhance this technique.

Functional release cupping involves applying cups to areas of the body that are restricted due to muscle tightness.

Movement of the restricted area results in an increase in range of motion and gradually softens the muscle tissue.
